I disagree. It's ideal for notebooks. Specially if you travel a lot. Sure, for desktop usage bigger, wired mice are better.

Using this mouse right now, it's ok for a wireless mouse but if you left click and hold it down and use the scroll wheel the scroll wheel will get harder to use.

Hey, does it work ok on black surface? I have a black desk and the mouse i have atm is jerky on it (its some 5 $ mouse xD).

It depends on the material, not the color. I also have a black desk, works perfectly on it, but it does weird things on dark and shiny materials, and with some fabrics too.

Very good little mouse. Bought it for my netbook and I am using it right now. Small, light, decent battery life and tracks very accurate, atleast for web browsing. Wouldn't buy it for gaming, but its not meant for that.
