Hard to decide which of the first 3 season's I'd choose as my favourite, but this would probably be it, if nothing else but the deciding factor that this is the best opening theme out of them.

I especially like the orchestral stabs at about 0:15 and how it get's kinda techno in the background. Really suits a series like Digimon.

The main problem I had with this season was that they didn't do enough with a lot of the Tamers. Kazu, Kenta, Suzie, Ai, and Mako should have played more of a role. I understand somewhat in regards to the last three considering their age, but there was no excuse for Kazu and Kenta.

@TheTKC There is one definite reason, and maybe a second, though I'm not completely sure.

The first, definite reason is that they wanted to maintain their own AMERICAN culture and use AMERICAN music for the opening, because god forbid children would be exposed to non-AMERICAN ways.

The second reason, which I'm not too sure on, is because they didn't acquire the rights or their was some dispute so they made their own music. Either way, it could have been way better than Digimon said forty times

Yet the opening and season are both the best, and I think this season is by far better not only than the other digimon seasons, but than most pokemon episodes. Like 450 pokemon episodes for me are as boring as fillers. Nothing against you pokemon fans, but this is by far better.

Undoubtedly the best of the 6 seasons. Jenrya and Terriermon FTW. EVERY character except for Ruki was entirely original, and Ruki is pretty well played anyway. There is only 1 gripe I have with this series and that would be how Hirokazu and Kenta were a little underutilized. Granted, the main 4 were better, but I still liked them. Hopefully Xros Wars can pull its head out of its ass and top this, but I doubt it. Taiki is no Takato. He's just another hothead main character *sigh*
