At the start she sounds exactly like Jessica Clarke who is also British but has lived in NY for a long while. I guess that's what happens to a lot of people who do so. But at some points she sounds even more american. Not that I dislike the american accent but I waaay prefer her with an English one.

My mum's Australian, and over time living here in the US her accent has 'faded' and become more American. Rachel lives in New York, so I'd assume her accent has blended a bit with the local. It happens more than we think.
