Well for your Bluetooth device to be found for example i an hp 500 earpiece and u press and hold to bottons until a light either flashes or stays on and then it will find it then it will come up with this number pad type in 0000 and then pair it:)

Bluetooth does not work with iPod Touches. The only thing you can it for is to connect two iPods together to play multiplayer.

I also got a 2g 3.1.2. It worked great! make sure that the bluetooth SBtoggle switch or your bluetooth via setting is also on while using BT mono... switch. hope it helps.

U never mentioned entering the headset's PIN which is required to pair it. So same as half the other comments here, how do you pair them? I did the toggling and restarted springboard etc but no joy.

After all the setup, the headset cannot be seen in the standard BT settings, skype/music player has no option to configure one, and obviously the ipod cant just 'hack into the headset' without a pin!

It should appear in your SBSettings not your Settings. Also make sure the toggle is enabled inside SBSettings.

Open Cydia and Search for and install SBSettings. Once installed swipe the status bar like I did in this video and you will see the toggles.

What generation iPod Touch do you have? You need at least the 2nd Generation. The 1st Generation doesn't have Bluetooth.
