  • WOOOO CKY! Shame they have all split up though :(

  • /watch?v=0iZOmjLrFMs

    ^^^ My Reaction ^^^

  • its real

  • LOL. yeah, heatsinks always just rest on top of cpu's and fans don't spin when pc's are on.

    Stupid video

  • @roynewelluk you have to plug the fan in.

  • @marhall

Not a fan of sarcasm there marhall?

I know you have to plug the fan in, thats kind of my point, the fan wasn't spinning and was just resting on as the vid was fake.

It is stupidly fake, processors do not explode

  • best use for amd

  • Making video in black and white, easier to edit huh

  • Firecrackers can be real fun huh?

  • beter then tnt

  • ahhahah

  • First, this is really old. I'm sure my new i5 CPU could wipe the floor with that.

Second, it's scientifically impossible for CPUs to explode in this way. The most you would get is lots of smoke as the CPU quickly heats itself up and destroys itself.

  • I was just telling somebody else about a clip like this one. I think I'll leave my heat sink attached while I'm running my AMD.

  • holy fuck...

  • why would you do this???

  • aint real

  • nice song CKY-Flesh into gear

  • eeets toooo etrame!

  • "Extrame, it is extrame" lol.

  • Fun, but I had a pretty similar something with an ATX PSU. It was too weak, but the OCP was rated too high so the PSU managed to fry it's input halfbridge. Result - the switch's heat terminal was blasted all the way through by the switch body blast, made like a 0.5mm-wide hole through a whole 1mm of some kind of copper alloy, and the rest made a round dent like 1mm deep in the aluminium heatsink itself. More fun - the epoxy-molded casing survived. That's what I call a cumulative charge :)

  • people actually beleave this?

  • FAKE

  • FAKE!!!!!

  • For people saying "Fake": thank you Captain Obvious. The video is obviously made to be a joke. Honestly, the fact that you think you need to point out that it's fake makes you more dense than people that think it's real.

  • 100% fake, you put a good firework under the cpu fan

  • FAKE!!!!

  • LOL, that was pretty sick, i thought it was real :\

but, 4.2v's is WAAAY over board, but a i7 980X can hit 5GHz on Liquid with 1.6-1.8, so yeah :D

  • @iReplaay this is an OLD cpu, in older days cpus were running on such voltage.

  • I would love this if it were real.

By the way, to all the haters, shut the fuck up. Just because they have accents doesn't mean they're terrorists. Go watch something else

  • THEY'RE SPEAKING WITH A FRENCH ACCENT YOU DUMB SAND NIGGERS

  • you arabs know how to blow up things

  • @burninghalls racist pff :(

  • u and your gay accent are fucking pathetic!!!!!

  • back in the day they could do that now AMD is the best for overclocking and better

  • 4.2Volts? :o

  • AMD JUST GOT annihilated so hard!

  • Хахах! Отсосный фэйк!!!

  • Perfect FAKE

  • You should have made it create a flaming lightning tornado and then implode into a black hole. That would have been more realistic.

  • super fake

  • the hole was already there..

  • AMD = Atomic Mass Destruction

  • i think the last piece of the cpu stick in to ur ass.

  • it was secretly a bomb lol

  • My guess is that the sudden shift in temperature caused to PCB to buckle. It most likely had a micro-fracture.

  • Epic..........

  • You're crazy. I like you.

  • Caneco

  • Sacre bleu!! Ze AMD ez esplode!

  • entertaining... but not real.

  • @Redrum4409 its real

  • @sgtheadhole

it really isn't, but believe what you will...

unless this guy jacked the voltage way wayyy up then that cpu would be hot but still in operating temperature, the fan was only off the cpu for a few seconds and the chip explodes? I don't think so... dont believe me? then go watch Tom's hardware vid of a cpu without a heatsink.

  • @Redrum4409 i watched the video but it was at stock voltages and clocks, this cpu was at 4 volts

  • @Redrum4409 So how'd they pull that off?

  • lol i have an old computer with this processor. eventually i want to try this, but for some reason i still use the computer for e-mail (even though i have a brand new netbook) so i guess i'll save it for now.

  • I think that to be honest you really should have an intake fan (usually at the front of your case near the bottom, and should have at least ONE other fan which is at the back (exhaust fan). Also good to have a top fan, as heat rises it seems pretty sensible.

  • Unless you invest in a quality made heatsink I would say over 50 quid then you cooling will be around about the same with anything you choose, one main thing is that you can have a huge CPU Heatsink, but if your case fans are improperly placed and are rubbish then you CPU temp is still gonna be high compared to having good cooling via your case fans.

  • Lol world's hottest puzzle!

  • My dual core amd runs cool :P and i only had one fan and it ran at like 70 degrees.

  • @bluejet2008 70 is way too hot... should be 25 to 30 idle and 45 to 50 full load.

  • @blackstones83 i think he meant farenhiet

  • holy shit that scared me lol wasn't expecting that, so if you overclock and then remove the heatsink thats what will happan, damn lol extreme overclocking

  • t0000 xt3mm11111

  • "ZEZ IZ TEWRIBWEWL IZ EXPUDE"

  • The fan is not even on in the first place... -.- fake...

  • ROFL!

  • who needs tower to hold my motherboard i got a table!

  • hmmm did you check for post beeps? Is your Video cable plugged in? Maybe you should call costumer support..... LOL

  • "ZE AMD HAZ AXSPLODE!"

    Priceless.

  • luuk at ze extriiime overcluckiing

  • "extrhem its too extrhem! it iz extrhem!"

    lolcopterz XD

  • lol, thats some crazy shit man!!!blowing old cpu's is funny

  • "tuu extreem"

The accents and commentary make this video sooo much more enjoyable.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA DUMB ASS!!!!

  • Y aqui careciendo de procesadores y alla unos locos los andan destruyendo.... mal, mal...

  • fan was never spinnin

  • it wasn't even plugged in. the video was completly fabricated.

  • lol nice actin

  • this is halarious

  • How do I get modo with cpu eject option? haha

I'll use this vid when people ask how to overclock their crap cpu...

  • destroying old CPU's is funny I know...

  • funny accent

  • they are acting!

    oo what happened

    shit

    keep it real!

  • Um, I thought it was Common Knowledge cpus need a heatsink or something like this could happen.

  • yes but amd holds the quadcore record at 7ghz ;)

  • ok where hav u seen it i wanna know if ur lying or not

  • They sounds fwench, no?

    ttoo to extweme, no?

    Chip: CRACK *gone*

  • Epic fail indeed. It should be obvious even to them that this sort of thing is likely to happen when the heatsink is removed from a CPU that's already massively overclocked.

  • Maybe they wanted it to happen? Because it would be funny?

  • They might have thought it funny, judging by the comments not many other people did.

  • I thought it did. Computers depreciate like hell. If selling them is no longer an option, the only thing left to do is blow them up! *-*

  • Well Said 3XPERIMANTAL!!! xD

  • Comment removed

  • SUCKS!

  • I could of use that MB, dummies

  • that seriously sucked ass... epic fail !! (wouldn't be surprised though with those cheap plastiky toys)

  • whats the name of the song used in the video?

  • cky - flesh into gear

  • thx so much

  • Comment removed

  • ze chip... it is so fresh... so lilydale

  • SO EXTREM

    SO FRUSH

    SO LILYDAY

  • 1.) You didn't even connect the fan

2.) Anyone who knows anything about electricity know electric explosions are white, yours was obviously faked

3.) Over clocking your core will BURN it, it wont explode, it may set your system on fire

    4.) Failure

  • @Moyo2k Super fake.... i thought so at the title... 'blow up'???

  • @Moyo2k

    5.) not profit?

  • @Moyo2k

the heatsync was spinning, but burnt out, learn to look closer

  • @Moyo2k No kidding?

  • Bull Shit! I have AMD Phenom 9950 Quad Core!!! and its max hit is 33 C... and here is a single core blows up? WTF?! and by the way... who overclocks single core proccesor with no good colling? the fans even didnt work and i have to say one thing... chips never blow up its a crap!!! you are just bunch of INTEL fan boys! go the hell!

  • No shit, the hell with INTEL. I hate pentium processors and their boards. My last used pentium machine was the Pentium D..(can't remember the model number) after 6 months of use and at least 5 fans running the damn thing, the thermal sensor was whacked. I changed to AMD and it's been a smooth ride ever since. AMD phenom rules.

  • You're crap. Intel is overpriced and doesn't handle half the shit that AMD can handle in a heart beat. Most of my friends who build computers as a home based business made me see the light 3 years ok. I had nothing but problems with intel and so did they. AMD runs apps flawless. Intel is garbage and I'll never go back to Intel. AMD is definitely my processor of choice. Intel just has a high fanboy base, you're one of them because you say that AMD is crap but Sorry, you're wrong AMD 4 life.

  • You call me a fan boy? What did you just say at the end of all that bull?

Put it this way, benchmarks speak the truth, and look at the price range, AMD knows its crap so it cant market anything past £150.

And yea you can buy a e5200 and OC it to 4ghz, like to see AMD do that on a cheap chip.

  • the have, check some vide of the phenom ii x4 965

  • The only thing AMD are known for is that they run at a slightly higher temp than intel processors this make no difference at all to performance so long as you have a decent cooling system =]

    AMD RULES

(ps anyone tested the i7 again the latest AMD chip????)

  • AMD Phenom X4 945 is running at 25 degress. Load at 50. On stock speed and stock cooler.

  • Wow! (edit to the thing about AMD being a higher temp!! ONLY OLD AMD's.. REALLY OLD ONES!!)

I just bought a AMD Bundle...

Athlon II X4 620 AM3 Retail, ASUS AM3 M4A785TD-M EVO M-ATX Motherboard, 2GB DDR3 1333 PC10660 Memory, (motherboard has inbuilt graphics, with 128 side port memory it is an Integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 GPU which has Crossfire support).

I think I might upgrade to the phenom though...

Can't waint till My lovely bundle arrives =D

  • @Lee7noo8 Nice one =), I found that the AMD stock heatsinks and fans are not bad even when compared to some of the more expensive heatsinks and fans which are MASSIVE!!! And they only shave off like a couple of degrees...

  • OMG calm down it was only suppose to be a bit of fun and larking about!!!!

  • lol

  • DALE.. anda gil otario!!!! el procesador "EXPLOTO" y no se ropmio el centro q es dnd esta el core..

    gracioso..

  • he so rich.. use intel. your pc will restart and restart until place heat sink

  • jaja nice!

  • 4.255 Volts.....(something like that), how the fuck did it survive in a fan failure?

  • i call bullshit... amds smoke then light on fire... youd have to push it past 10-15GHz to get it to explode like that

  • 0:14 "Explosive reviews"... rofl...

  • firecracker left bullshit plus chips dont BLOW up they fry

  • punjabis

  • good and now.

    now you have no pc

  • If pcs did that I'm sure it would be too much of a safety hazard or something..lol funny vid though :D

  • LOL, it usually takes something like 3-5 seconds for a CPU to fry without a cooler, but that was fast. Guess that CPU has an eficcency problem are something.

  • Oh, wait, I didn't see that the fan wasn't running. LOL.

  • yeah, ima call bullshit...

  • lmao..scared the shit out of me

  • totally extrehm!! lol, jk

  • nothing more then a firecracker getting hot under the processor I bet and when the chip hits a high temp the firecracker blows up and so does everything else

  • Wow, that's a buncha shit. Don't get me wrong, every last duron should be destroyed. But, yeah, they don't explode. There is nothing inside that could pop like that. They don't overclock very well either.....

  • this is a fake. the cpu would produce smoke before melting or possibly catching on fire. it would not explode like this. come on guys you'll have to do better than that. the hole clearly shows signs of cutting and the cpu was snapped apart, not exploded. whoever believes a piece of equipment can blow up with no explosive material in it is a moron

  • they CAN explode ^^

i dont know why but its possible me and my brother done it with an old computer :D

  • true, pulling your cooler off will next to instantly fry your CPU, but nowadays any decently new computer will automatically shut off as soon as the CPU reaches it temperature threshold.

But, as for the chip exploding in that fashion , I'm not so sure about

  • yes but you can turn off in the bios that the computer shuts down :D

  • yeh, I mean there's nothing wrong about having fun blowing up an ancient rig, and I haven't done this but i would not doubt the older CPU's doing this, they make as much equivalent heat energy as a range oven top does :D

  • Cpu explodes without cooling, and this one was overclocked so it goes way much faster.

  • AMD SE LA COME

  • This is gonne happend wen remove the CPU Fan .People do not remove The CPU Fan .And is not fake its tru .and please sorry about my english is not good i m from another country . DO NOT REMOVE THE CPU FAN !!!!

  • Not Funny At All

  • huh.. those retarded..

  • This is fake people.

They showed a video showing the fireworks under.

  • When did AMD start planting explosives in their chips?...fake

  • lol

  • Hi guys! What is the song? First time I heard it on the Jackass movie. Thanxxx

  • uhh no real it can happen

  • that scared the shit out of me!! i jumped!!!!!!

  • Lol, I jumped too...personally though, I don't think it'd explode like that...seems like it'd melt or some shit, but not freaking explode.

  • FAIL NUMBER 1 theres no mouse plugged in

FAIL NUMBER 2 the pc WILL NOT run without the heatsink clamped down FAIL NUMBER 3 YOU CAN SEE THE FUCKIGN PRILLED MARKS IN THE TABLE FAGGOTS

FAIL NUMBER 4 processors down blow up they bur out FAIL NUMBER FIVE there french cunts and cant act for shit !

  • 3 FUCKING VOLTS LOL

  • thats a crap motherboard mine X50 better then this junk hehe

  • ok, this is cool but it's just a fake. Cpu can't explode, the most they can do is burn themselves :P

  • Look at the lever for the cpu.....it was never latched in the first place.

  • Get real here..? How can anyone believe this is real? The Fan on the heat sink was not plugged in....ok they might be dumb but they never even locked the heat sink down to the board it was just sitting on top. They had a hole in the mother board and the table and probably a M60 firecracker under the the CPU which was at least locked into the socket. this is a fabricated video purely for chits and giggles

  • i rely don't believe this. they could have put some kind of fire cracker in there. i mean look how they are doing this. they outside for one and the heat sink fan wasn't even spinning to start. there is nothing combustible in a CPU or motherboard. if it did over heat it would just melt and burn.

    don't hate appreciate

  • If you look on the floor there are the parts from where the hole was blown through the board and table, and possibly some of the underside of the CPU. so not fake.

  • lol thats fukn aweosme! it makde a hole in the table! lmao!!!!!

  • That fucking made me jump seriously happened so fast wow this video scard me nice work

  • duckt tape should fit it.

  • Its athene LAWL

  • Another thing to add to everyone's list of inconsistencies. That much energy running through, from the chip exploding, would cause the mobo to jump..not just sit in place.

  • fake!!

  • fuck face

  • looks like a fake but still funny :-)

note that he just picked the fan without using any tool to separate the spring

Also normally the cpu starts smoking - not exploding hehe

  • Exactly why else would the fan be off and not be locked down

  • intel's shit exploded not amd amd is the shit fuck u assholes

  • YEA MAN FUCK INTELL!!!! THERE BIOTCHESS whoo..

  • AMD is crap, doesn't surprise see that crapy AMD processor exploded ! They must LEARN from Intel baby! LoL

  • If you didn't now, AMD was in that time far ahead of Intel with there 64Bit processors. Intel came back with there C2D.

  • Yeah...Never seen one do THAT

  • look at the extream oburkloken LOL wtf.

  • Fake from Intel Marketing

  • It's obviously fake, primarily because the entire cpu chip is entirely intact. The chip is mounted on a board for the ball grid array, it was the board that was destroyed.

Unlike these guys, I have actually blown a hole in a chip before, when I crossed VCC and ground while probing signals. Lucky I'm not blind. That was a $1000 chip. Felt pretty bad about that.

  • its not fake because i have done that

  • > its not fake because i have done that

    This VIDEO is fake.

I don't know about what you did.

The chip itself wasn't damaged, the board it was mounted on however was destroyed. If the chip overheated and created a vapor that would cause it to explode, the chip would have been cracked, it wasn't.

  • if you dont want your money give it to charity or something to spent it for fucking stupid videos
