Dude, if you guys are interested in playing 2 player games together like this, you should -definitely- play Sunset Riders. It's a western shoot-em up game and has 2 player action. One of the best Sega games to be created, along with this one, hands down. :)

World of Illusion is one of the finest videogames ever created- it remains sorely under-rated for the superb quality of its music and graphics that actually create this mysterious atmosphere probably even more than any classic Disney film actually has.

Well, we basically played this because it was one of our favorite games from growing up. We've probably beaten the game a good 20 times over the years.
We currently takin' a break to give him time to get Light Crusader done, but we're probably going to start playing another one some time soon. Haven't entirely decided on what one yet.
Doom would be interesting, but it's really short. We're going to try to find somethin' long to play.

I think you guys would enjoy Braindead 13. It was a one-player game, but it's like Dragon's Lair so you could still have that cooperative element.

Sunset Riders was made by Konami, and was originally 4 players in the arcade version. A 4 player arcade video of it would be neat.
