Hearing the begining of this song sounds like the ending clip of "Free to Dance". Think this comes after Free to dance in the Hillsong [By Your Side Album].

So far I've got: Free to Dance, This is How We Overcome, My Redeemer Lives, Great in Power as far as getting the consecutive order of the joy songs.

This is the first "Joy" song from the album "By Your Side" that I first disclovered last year. There is no church, from what I've seen today where I am, in Toronto, that worshipps like this. I like the hands going up on "This is how you overcome", the jumping and turning around. The Joy of the Lord is our strength and you can see that these people really have the joy of the Lord -- it doesn't look like a facade at all....people are really missing out on this .

How do we overcome. I am a believer and understand some of what they are saying but I really don't understand the song. I understand what Christ has done for me but the chorus part don't match up to the verse. How do we overcome? Not by jumping up and down. I believe in radical praise but this song doesn't really make any sense. It's catchy but we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Rev 12:11 I don't hear anything in the song about Christ or how we overcome.

They're saying this is how we overcome, and what are they doing? Praising God,therefor, that's how we overcome. Through Praising God when we don't feel like it, when we're going through rouge times and such things as that. That's how we overcome.
