While it is cool to have translations to games that never made it over to our side of the seas, what stops such companies from reproducing original (already translated) games (such as Secret of Mana) and selling them, as new? or reproducing only the cartridge/manuel/box etc.. its kind of sad, if you view the original games as limited relics I've seen some reproductions look damn real. almost indistinguishable..
@SkeletonHug hey brother, i'm responding to ur comment u posted on this video a year ago, it says. yo about the NES dump, i'v heard they once did Super NES games. i dunno i may have misunderstood what i heard. is that true? would you know?
@EternalBlueSyaoran It's a fun game to screw around with. I will def. get a mario 2jp conversion done once I have some extra cash. I must have that. I've wanted to own a physical copy of that game in it's 8-bit glory forever. It's nice having it on the wii but I have to share it so I only have the opportunity to play it some of the time.
I bought Earthbound Zero from game reproductions, and it works fine, except it's actually heavier than a real NES game and the label doesn't feel like an original game. Plus, the end label part of the sticker, or the top, is coming off and I had to hold it with tape. Another thing about that site is that they fucked up the order and spent 4 months processing 4 copies when I only wanted 1, had to return the extras and didn't get my $ back for one of them.
Personally, Gamereproductions is a better place to buy from. He doesnt require you to supply a donor and also he doesnt put crummy logos of his site on the label.
So Gamereproductions is the best, also you pay less in the long run buying from him.
could you supposably take an 8-bit computer game, put it on a transfer chip and put it in an nes cartridge? because I have been trying to put megaman 9 as an nes cartridge for a very long time, please help
megaman 9 was designed to run on the wii. the game most likely isn't 100% compatible with the NES, becuase it probably uses more sprites on the screen at one time then the NES can handle ect..
the top two links you show, I have ordered about 3 games per site. Both are excellent quality, play well, and are real conversation starters. one is in usa and one in canada.
Well done, man. Finally someone on YouTube who knows his stuff about NES. I used to be in contact with Leon from NESreproductions like years ago. I think he must've been one of the first public reproducers.
I want to get my hands on both NWC 1990 and NCC 1991 from Retro USB really badly because those games are really tough to get (especially NCC 1991, there is only 1 in existent today) but they cost $140 together.
If you have an Eprom copier you can buy the chips for nothing like$8 each chip, the machine is like $60-100 and you just need some donar carts. you can make it yourself as long as you're good with soldering. Not soo difficult. Good business to get into man ;D
oh i see this is fucked up though lol you wonder why i cant ever find a fucking copy of micromachines for cheap

MrGoomba909 2 years ago
@MrGoomba909 It was a game from a pirated Famicom multi-cart. I'm 99.999% sure its Sonic with Marion sprites, but it could be visa versa.

yes, I asked him that lol. If you you send in smb2usa for smb2japan, you will get the same cart, minus the label and 2 chips. those will be replaced.
