  • While it is cool to have translations to games that never made it over to our side of the seas, what stops such companies from reproducing original (already translated) games (such as Secret of Mana) and selling them, as new? or reproducing only the cartridge/manuel/box etc.. its kind of sad, if you view the original games as limited relics I've seen some reproductions look damn real. almost indistinguishable..

is there a way to know for sure??

  • the opening looks like pat the nes punks opening

  • DONT qoute him boyz he aint said sh*t. NICE work pepsiru1es92 I like your intro

    video!

  • Hero Quest on NES is an awesome game. That game is unreleased.

  • Oh and 1 more thing, "Earth Bound Zero" isnt the real name. It's just earth bound.

  • @wyatt8740 Its actually called "Mother".

  • @Holktube Yeah the japanese version is MOTHER but the english prototype is called earth bound.

  • I have a TOP LOADER too!

  • FUCKIN 48 SECOND INTRO = TOO LONG.

  • Why is your camera constantly pointed at your pillow? Its infuriating...

  • thenesdump is the best for repros, widest selection too.

  • @SkeletonHug

nor does he plaster his logo all over everything like retrousb and video game kingdom.

  • @SkeletonHug Yeah, I've been there, it's pretty good, wasn't around when I made this though.

  • @SkeletonHug hey brother, i'm responding to ur comment u posted on this video a year ago, it says. yo about the NES dump, i'v heard they once did Super NES games. i dunno i may have misunderstood what i heard. is that true? would you know?

  • @92soothsayer Sure did. But he no longer offers them on the site. Im sure if you email him though he might accept your request for some snes titles.

  • Trying to find the lost levels game for the nes. Nothing on ebay. Any ideas?

  • I feel bad for you, out of all things... why Somari?! o . o

I remember playing that some time, it was dreadful

  • @EternalBlueSyaoran It's a fun game to screw around with. I will def. get a mario 2jp conversion done once I have some extra cash. I must have that. I've wanted to own a physical copy of that game in it's 8-bit glory forever. It's nice having it on the wii but I have to share it so I only have the opportunity to play it some of the time.

  • waht is standpoint

  • im trying to learn how do repro but information is hella hard to come across. Can anyone point me to some useful sites?

  • the dude that makes the games name is philip acree

  • Great intor

  • @mangamegs Great intro

  • I bought Earthbound Zero from game reproductions, and it works fine, except it's actually heavier than a real NES game and the label doesn't feel like an original game. Plus, the end label part of the sticker, or the top, is coming off and I had to hold it with tape. Another thing about that site is that they fucked up the order and spent 4 months processing 4 copies when I only wanted 1, had to return the extras and didn't get my $ back for one of them.

  • @jpsplat

    thats messed up D=

    well, nothing is perfect =\

  • @jpsplat This is my site, and I have no idea what your talking about

  • look at how dirty those consoles / handhelds get.

  • That's my old channel, lol.

    I

    V

  • Personally, Gamereproductions is a better place to buy from. He doesnt require you to supply a donor and also he doesnt put crummy logos of his site on the label.

So Gamereproductions is the best, also you pay less in the long run buying from him.

  • I just ordered mine recntly with a special custom label for EB zero

  • @chrisharden13 upload a vid suuhhn

  • I will once it arrives in the mail. v.v

  • how a boot that, I am caniden, I should get some games made then

  • lol

U did that on purpose, right?

    if not...

    My bad

  • Yea I did it on purpose, no Canadians talk like that its an American stereo type

  • yeah. I do know some canadians that have heavy accents, but none of them talk like that.

  • i want:

    1. super mario 2j

    2.Zelda Outlands

    3. Earthbound English

  • somari?? never heard of it. :p what is it like? is it a good game?

  • @MrGoomba909 It was a game from a pirated Famicom multi-cart. I'm 99.999% sure its Sonic with Marion sprites, but it could be visa versa.

  • Nice intro! I prefer Coke, though.

  • I got EarthBound Zer0, and I am considering getting a repro of a ROM hack made by one of my YouTube friends

  • i bought Earthbound for the N.E.S

  • Me too.

  • My most wanted are:

    - Mario Adventure SMB3 hack is now available on gamereproductions-com

    - StarFox 2 SNES (not possible)

    - Earthbound

    - Adventure Island 4

    - Super Mario Bros. 2 Famicom system

  • But first... I need NES console first, Game Genie with SMB3, and Gamereproductions stuff.

  • what about Nintendo World Championships?

  • No, I not interested in NWC, because it is only for demo and scoring ranks.

  • I own four NES repos and one SNES repo. They are as followed:

    1. Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan)

    2. Nintendo World Championchip 1990

    3. Earthbound Zero

    4. Zelda Outlands

    5 Starfox 2 (Which I had to send back because it wasn't working-believe me, there's a video)

  • damm i want a reproduction cart of the pyrated versions of supermarioworld, donkeykong country 1,2 & donkeykongland.

supermariobros2 jap was officially only released on the fds system, but yeah they could put all fds games on cartrides would be cool .

  • I want:

    Zelda: Outlands

    Zelda: Ganon's Revenge

    Sonic the Hedgehog

    Mario Adventure

    Somari

    Star Fox 2

  • You might want to wait on the Starfox 2 reproduction.

  • could you supposably take an 8-bit computer game, put it on a transfer chip and put it in an nes cartridge? because I have been trying to put megaman 9 as an nes cartridge for a very long time, please help

  • megaman 9 was designed to run on the wii. the game most likely isn't 100% compatible with the NES, becuase it probably uses more sprites on the screen at one time then the NES can handle ect..

  • the top two links you show, I have ordered about 3 games per site. Both are excellent quality, play well, and are real conversation starters. one is in usa and one in canada.

  • Well done, man. Finally someone on YouTube who knows his stuff about NES. I used to be in contact with Leon from NESreproductions like years ago. I think he must've been one of the first public reproducers.

  • Wow dude that's some awesome info! I had no idea these sites are out there doing this!

  • I want to get my hands on both NWC 1990 and NCC 1991 from Retro USB really badly because those games are really tough to get (especially NCC 1991, there is only 1 in existent today) but they cost $140 together.

  • Wow! When it comes to NES carts. You know them like the back of your hand. Nice video. I could never be this technically inclind

  • whats zelda outlands?

  • a well done zelda hack. search it out on here.

  • @thorgrim103 It's a zelda hack.

  • i have a question. dose the donor cartridge u send out come back? and if it dose, dose it still work?

  • yes, I asked him that lol. If you you send in smb2usa for smb2japan, you will get the same cart, minus the label and 2 chips. those will be replaced.

  • @pepsiru1es92 sure does beat tracking down a disk system and a copy of the disk that hasn't been written over.

  • If you have an Eprom copier you can buy the chips for nothing like$8 each chip, the machine is like $60-100 and you just need some donar carts. you can make it yourself as long as you're good with soldering. Not soo difficult. Good business to get into man ;D

  • I don't like brewing for the NES , too complex :3

The MasterSystem and the Collecovision was much easier to program for :)

very detailed review you got here 8D , well done

  • Thanks.

  • Don't forget the Dreamcast, It has no copy protection! You can play all the pirated NES ROMs you want on a single CD-R! :3

  • cool
