this is still great. Out of interest, might be a coincidence but there is a joke in the Eric Idle Rutland Dirty Weekend Book using the phrase 'sister brothers' and I wonder if it was an influence?
You wonder as you get older if the things you liked when you were younger were really that good. This was funny then and is still ridiculously good now! Great clip.
Pure brilliance. The world of the strange was the best thing Trev and Simon did. Just wish I could remember more than the two scenes that were on their released videos!
The other one I remember is The Sean Connery Calendar, with one month being 'popular crying footballer, Gazza'
The Chuckle Brothers have been on TV for f*cking 20 years, and theyre not funny! Bring back Trev and Simon!
Lol brilliant, BTW is it just me or does Trev look a bit like Richard Branson here ha-ha

Where did the BBC get the World of the Strange theme from, an old horror film or did they make it especially for these sketches?

I seem to remember they made some adverts based on this sketch for those old "fruitang" sweets in the mid-90s.

'Blimey, that's good!' was a T&S spoof of a programme showcasing inventions.
Does anyone remember when Philip Schofield dressed up as one of World of the Strange?

I don't recall seeing that 'Blimey...' sketch on the videos. I will take another look though. Cheers for the info!

They didn't include any Blimey! sketches on the videos. There is a lot of things they did on GL and L&K that they did not include.

Anyone got any clips of them doing "Blimey thats good"

Off the top of my head, I don't know what you mean. What characters are they playing, what clothes etc?
