  • i totally love this song. it's like an encouragment song that gives saber the will to fight to the end. that's how i see it. i didn't realize at first that saber(nero) is different than saber(Arturia). both have the same personalities and act the same yet they can be different at the same time. saber(nero) has the strong will and confidence just like saber (arturia).

  • It's too bad they didn't leave in Saber's chant for this track.

  • You know, there is this story about Nero being infatuated with a young man, so he cuts the lad's weewee, pretends that it's a girl and marries it

With King Arthur turning out to be a Queen, it does raise the question as to who the heck lady Guinevere was supposed to be, but Emperor Nero...

  • Love this song and love saber

  • sounds original but also sounds a little like Sword of Promised Victory

  • is this the song that plays when she uses Domus Astus Aurea, cause, the audio of my psp, is not functioning, and it sounds too low...

    ??

  • @etymosfalcon Yes, this is the song.

  • i played this game for SABER.... ARCHER n CASTER were just bonuses.... especially CASTER ^.^

  • @Ginobi666 I love Nero and write a story about him before this game ever planned. Like 6 years ago. And I do love Saber Nero. But what you said cant be ignored.

You havent even read the story of Tamamo no Mae. Its a sad folklore both popular in japan and china. The story of a fox spirit that want to live with human but cant never be accepted and hunted down by those she loves.

  • I just pressed the win button

  • :trolldance:

  • I'm still waiting for an official release of the original visual novel.

  • @AriesByTheStars Technically, the original visual novel was officially released years ago.

  • @MedicHaus Of course, he meant an english language localized version of the original masterpiece.

  • @AriesByTheStars Er...why? mirror_moon's fan translation is very high-quality, there's absolutely no reason to want another release.

  • @poggg Because a fan translation is still technically illegal, and people are discouraged by it. I'm still hoping for an official release as well.

  • @ArowaLim Sure, according to the Berne Convention a fan translation is technically illegal, but it's hard to find fault in it if their translation is nothing more than a patch to be applied to the original game, which you are expected to purchase legally. In fact, I ordered Fate/Stay Night from Japan a few years ago, and applied the Mirror Moon patch to it. Did I do anything wrong?

  • @MedicHaus Well, I see it as the Mirror Moon team not getting the permission to actually release the patch to the public. Sure it would be fine if they limited it to themselves, their family and their friends, but how would you feel when your product gets this treatment without your say so? That's why there's a process in localizing, and it's what makes it official. And legal.

  • @MedicHaus

    You didn't do anything wrong.

However, what you did was illegal.

This is why copyright law is pants-on-head retarded. It makes absolutely no sense, things that aren't illegal are, things that should be aren't, and punishments for it are blown ridiculously out of proportion.

  • Looking forward to the english release. It may have taken a while but we are finally going to get the english version this year or early next.

  • Sieg Nero!

  • All hail the Emperor! *bows*

  • This saber is definitely my favorite servant in the game

  • i love the new saber. shes arrogant, shes cute and her noble phantasm looks awesome!

  • This new Saber Awsome She does all her rose Attack Then summon her own World Epic Rose attack then summon the world

  • i like the new saber (Nero) than the old saber (Arthur) coz the new one is more arrogant.... thus much cuter than the old one.... that arrogant loli voice is smexy

  • @Ginobi666 Right, I like her more because she seems more like a normal girl, expressive of herself and whatnot. And she seemed more realistic as she had problems when ruling as Emperor, which is what would happen to most teenage girl turned Emperors.

  • @ArowaLim

but the original Saber was not a teenage girl, by the time she died, she probably would have already been close to mid-age.

  • @DarthFanta Sure she has a few years worth of experience, but age and bodywise she is still fifteen.... I think

  • @ArowaLim

Age wise, Saber isn't fifteen. She's close to mid-age,in her thirties or forties. Saber only looked like she's fifteen because she carried Avalon for a vast span of her lifetime and thus never ages.

  • @DarthFanta Well, my main point was that she had too perfect of a rule as King. So it seemed unrealistic.

  • @ArowaLim

Saber didn't have a perfect reign. Her people betrayed her and rallied behind her 'son' Modred. All that could be said is that Arthuria is a good ruler, but one that ultimately failed.

  • @DarthFanta Well, that one event was caused because of her perfect rule, because she sacrificed her emotions and did what an average ruler could not, the people grew critical at her lack of humanity. That was the main reason for the civil unrest, so technically it was because of her being a perfect ruler that caused her downfall. Anyway, let's stop with the debate and enjoy the OST!

  • @ArowaLim You forgot the part about her sacrificing a village to supply her army for war when she closes her heart off. She had done this a couple times.

Though I liked the idea of 3rd Grail War Saber more.

  • @BradleyMcCloud That was what I meant by being a perfect ruler, cause a normal ruler would not have the will to be able to carry on decisions like that.

  • @DarthFanta its actually a differnt saber because that saber name her name is Nero Claudius Noble Phantasm Aestus Domus Aurea

  • @DarthFanta Actually her age stopped when she drew the sword, Caliburn, from the stone.

  • @shabalabadingdong Late reply... Nope, you're wrong...

  • @ArowaLim Guess you've never played the Visual Novel then. Sucks for you.

  • @shabalabadingdong Sigh, if you want to be ignorant, fine. Avalon was the reason she never aged, as it bequeaths limited immortality through healing and prevents the physical deterioration received from aging. It is not the effect of Caliburn.

  • @ArowaLim It's true that Avalon grants immortality. Though the VN says something along the lines of her time stopping when she drew Caliburn from the stone.

  • @shabalabadingdong Drawing Caliburn was just a symbolization that she could never be a normal girl again, having the mantle of being King of Britain put on her shoulders. The VN never said she stopped aging because of that.

  • @ArowaLim

She stopped aging cuz SHE DIED.

  • @AzureFayt

Strangely it was stated that she made the pact as she was dying... but in the battles of the holy grail wars, she had a complete flesh and physical form and couldn't go into a astral form like the others supposedly...

I know for a fact that after the Fate Route, Saber returns to her era to the point where she was dying and kicks the bucket from there... though if we go by the accordance of Author/Authoria's legend... she was taken to Avalon... which... leads to more questions...

  • @AzureFayt Throughout the Holy Grail Wars Arturia has entered, in her 'Time' she is still alive. Frozen in time by the power of the spirit of Alaya, whom Arturia made a pact that by granting her wish of acquiring the Holy Grail, she would serve the spirit as a Counter Guardian. Thus, though she is summoned into the future as a spirit, she could not enter her spirit form, and has a physical form. The main reason is that she has not died yet, and is frozen in time.

  • @shabalabadingdong

I think it might have meant her life as a personal being stops... since as a king she must protect her subjects, her kingdom, and simply be just that... the king that is needed and wanted by the kingdom.

I'm not too sure about it myself, but I don't recall Saber really mentioning much about her past times for herself during her reign... just a lot of battles and harsh decisions she made as a king that lead to her people thinking she was cold and not human...

  • @ArowaLim Sorry if I did sound ignorant, but your reply wasn't any better in my eyes...

  • @Ginobi666

Lol can't argue with that, though I guess with the old Saber... depending on tastes... you'd have fun breaking her in... As for the new... she'd likely be having fun breaking you senseless repeatedly and enjoying it with full of arrogance :D

  • @Ginobi666 not to mention the more revealing dress
