My great friend Gibby Escobedo, co-founder of the Breed along with Rudy Guerra, The great drummer Richard Soliz, and that legenday horn section--among others over the yrs,, Donald Garza, Frank Perez, Frankie Partida, Rudy Guerra, Al Gomez, Charlie Rodriguez, Bassist Pete Garza, Guitarrists Steve Vasquez and Gilbert Velasquez, and the list goes on and on. WHAT A MUSICAL LEGACY!!!!!! Also the vocalists--Jimmy Edward, Adalbeto, Jay, Roger!
This is before tejano music was labeled as "tejano." Being from San Antonio, Tx I had my share and honor of playing with some local bands in the 70's. I love this music.
Jimmy Edwards surely had that voice, and the latin breed, pues que te puedo te puedo decir, I got married shotly after my girlfriend took me to their concert in chicago, so perhaps their responsable for my children also, quien sabe, God bless
