  • the 361 cures cancer.

  • YOU CAN STILL BUY BRAND-NEW 440 MAGNUMS FROM THE CHAINSAWGUY. LOOK HIM UP ON HERE, HIS NAME IS DOUGAN.

  • sounds like my 390 ,metallic ,sounds nice

  • It was the 440 till EPA took over the 460 is going away also to 461 it going too look like the 441 real close to it

  • @quintonalame45 and i herd that the 660 is goin to. i hate epa they gotta screw with everything. it sucks. its all about the least amount of emissions. but you cant do anything. i have the 660 with the CL chain on it and its a beast. but i just wish that them good old saws would stay around but they are goin bye bye.

  • @quintonalame45 and on that note now is a good time to stock up on saws old or new before the epa totaly kills logging all to gether

  • @REDNECKCABLETV i agree with you 100% fucken tree huggers should fuck off i hate em all

  • @JRFFRB the funny thing is they live in a city which used to be a forest they use paper everyday im sure their bed and desk are made of wood they get power from a nuke power plant and drive a car running on gas and they bitch us out for cutting trees? fuck them they can go fucking die and stop wasting my oxygen

  • @REDNECKCABLETV i agree they are useless

  • Nice saw I thought bout getting one but went with with the 460 instead how does it cut make a video

  • @quintonalame45 thank you. the 460 is a far superior saw i feel. i have sold this saw. i just didnt like the speed it cut at. i got one video of this saw up. it was an ok saw but not for the professional in my opinion. the 361 i got out cut the 441 which is sad. the vibration i loved. but other than that keep with the 460.

  • you sir are a dumbass. drop starting a saw that big? your gonna hurt yourself man be carefull. remember just becuase you havent gotten hurt yet doesn't mean it cant happen to ya. all it takes is one time with a chainsaw and you will get messaed up badly. they cant stitch chainsaw wounds. be safe aloha

  • CHAINSAW MASSACRE ....XD

  • i have stihl 038 farm boss 17 years old that is beast fuck husky. Husky is dead for 4 or 5 years.Whaste of money

  • I guess nobody never told him to never drop start a chain saw

  • ???

  • hi

    nice video

what inch bar r u running on that saw?

    thanks

  • good saw but its high pitched sound does get annoying my 390 sounds a hell of a lot more beefier than this saw although this saw is bigger. your saw also sounds like its runnin a bit rich.

  • You're an idiot. This saw is from the professional series, the 390 is from the amatuer series that stihl make. Yours probably sound 'beefier' because the muffler is shot.

  • Comment removed

  • @gilligoon ha idiot if your going to try and belittle my knowledge start by spelling amateur right. secondly yeah my 390 sounds ''beefier'' because it has a modded muffler and i do own a 441 it is by far the loudest chainsaw i own. oh yeah and by the loudest i mean it beats my big chainsaws being the 090 and the 075. it has that cat muffler and being a strato that probably has sopmething to do with it to.

  • @66665555 Since when does the MS441 have a cat muffler? That is the great thing about the strato technology is that it does not need a cat muffler. Strato saws use a fresh air charge to clear the exhaust gasses before the mix enters the combustion chamber. I guess you had better quit worrying about others spelling and start learning about your saws.

  • @strohhtc if you read a stihl catalog there is a specific warning in there about how the muffler will stay hot longer do to cleaning the emissions. if you looked up the definition of a cat then you would know that a cat is in place to clean the exhaust emissions right?

  • @66665555 A cat muffler for a saw is simply a baffle to keep the unburnt mix from running out of the muffler before it is burnt. The byproduct of this is that the operating temperatures of the saw increase significantly. Strato saws use a fresh air charge to push the exhaust gasses from the combustion chamber through into the muffler. There are several brands and models of saws that use cat mufflers to comply with emissions, the MS441 is not one of them.

  • Ha... cute, now get a hold of an 038 Magnum 2 so you'll know what real power feels like. The ms441 is the most epa babied, underpowered saw that Stihl has ever built. What a shame.

  • Heh...

I have a Dolmar 7900, and a buddy of mine runs a 441. We both mill right next to eachother at times, and there is very minimal difference.

The 441 is 70cc, and the 7900 is 79cc. The Dolmar has a bit more torque, but it GUZZLES furl. The 441 revs up faster to WOT and it just sips away at the fuel, it burn very little.

    A 441 would probably be faster than a 460.....

  • LOL

    [knüllachen^^

  • I also work on small engines for a living and I'd have to back what the showstopper said to a tee and I dont recommend drop starting them at all let alone when there cold

  • What a behaviour - beautiful chainsaw!

  • what a fuckwit u now how to rev a saw. well done

  • had one for 30 years the best saws in the woods

  • Thanks alot , ill take your advice! What do you recommend for plugs ? Ive only run about a gallon of gas at 100-1, I just didnt think it was right to run so light on oil ! But i have to admit my saw runs sweet on amsoil !! Stihl oil makes my saw run like s--t ?

  • Wanna little more power out of your saw ? Run amsoil sabre 2cycle oil 100-1 premix and junk those shity stock spark plugs and get some E3 plugs , they are awsome!!! Got the same saw and love the hell out of it !

  • I work on small engines for a living. The E3 plugs (IMHO) arnt worth a damn. They last a very short period of time. They work very well in automotive engines but i've found in my lines of work that the two cycles and small 4 cycles cant hack them. Just my two cents, nice saw, stop running the hell out of it when its cold lol.

  • Oh and i missed out on the 100-1 mix, yes it will run better...but only for a short period of time because of the lack of oil!! The proper mix provides lubrication as well as helps keep the engine cool. All the Stihl chainsaws are 50:1 mix, I just personally wouldn't recommend running them on anything else, they have enough bugs as it is. Again, just my oppinion

  • nice. I just bought this same saw last weekend. I bought a 28 bar and an Oregon chain for it. I'm getting ready to install the bar/chain and fire it up in a minute. I was thinking I might make a video of how to start it.

  • KICK ASS SAW! i would kill for one of those STIHL IS THE BEST PERIOD!

  • gay yall

  • like you

  • ha..

  • Were you going full throttle at any point in that video?

  • yes i was going full throttle at a few points.

  • idk y i like the idle tho too try and include some idle time next vid! very nice saw btw

  • I Own One Of Those, Their Loud as hell and Very Damn Powerful!!!

  • thats cool. i gotta STIHL MS-660 MAGNUM, 92 cc. powerhead with a 36 inch guide bar. stihls the best period.

  • You should make a video of your saw.

  • thanks, i will when i get a video cammera.

  • hey get a 3120XP with a .404 pitch chain now that will cut though anything

  • stihl ms880 magnum eat that 3120xp...husky:8.4hp...10.4kg ms880magnum:8.8hp.....9.8kg

  • rofl sounds like a plane dude thats sweet

  • I love the sound of a mean saw screaming in the morning!!!

  • And ?????

  • sounds like a piece of shit. wouldnt you rather get laid then play with trees all day?

  • pussy

  • allrite allrite... you all idiots.. i drop start all of my saws only on rare occasions do i start my saws on the ground all of my saws start in 3 or less pulls no matter how fuckin cold out it is ive never hurt myself or anyone els although i do drop start with the chain brake on.. also... it doesnt hurt your saw to rev it when its cold...unless your blipping it..

  • its different than revving it up holding for a few seconds and letting off.. if you keep revving it than its detrimental to your saw but you hafto heat it up so that itll idle somehow

  • I don't drop start my saw on the first start, but ones it's warmed up I do.

  • my saws all start pretty easy so i can drop start it and its running in 3 or less pulls... i always put the chain brake on tho.. unles simusing one of my saws that dont have a brake on them.. i dont drop start those.. their mean saws and they snow no remorse

  • I keep the chain brake off. Only time I use the chain bake is when I am sharpening the chain.

  • i put it on when i sharpen.. when i drop start.. and when i hafto drop my saw and run from a stump

  • Well I live Maine so there aren't really any trees I need to run away from while they falling. I mean I do have to back up a bit (and when I do I take my saw with me), but we don't really have any massive trees here.

  • it's ok, you will just have more fingers than he will lol joking

  • Don't drop-start it you jackass.

  • Yeah, but theres no better way to show off them pipes. BTW, my wife used to babysit Minuteman 3s in the 320th.

  • i drop start all of my chainsaws you JACKASS.. your a moron

  • Nothing like the smell of chainsaw exhaust in the morning.

  • I have a 110cc Stihl hehe, just got it going yesterday with alot of new parts, it runs great!

Btw, don't rev a cold engine, dunno if it was cold on this vid but i'm just saying it..

  • gotta heat it up somehow you moron.. it doesnt hurt them.. ive bin running chainsaws for my entire life and havent killed one yet asshole

  • Shut up or leave YouTube. All you have been doing here is complaining. Your entire life ey? Can't be a long time since you write like a 12 year old child.

  • yeah what he said shut the hell up

  • you have no life do you

  • Well not only drop starting it but doing it with the chain brake disengaged yeee haww

  • still drop starting, thats lots of saw there, come on work safe, be a frickin pro!

  • respect!! treat it with respect,,, it ai`nt got no friends.....

  • that saw is one bad boy! :)

  • Two words...

    K I C K A S S

  • thank you. the saw really is a kick ass saw. i love it.
