man i wish he would do this with pearl jam like he did in some of the other hungerstrike youtube vid's....he sounds so much better now than he did in those...
cada ves q escucho esta grandiosa cancion, me devuelve a mi pasado, a la epoca del colegio, es pura nostalgia y furor de aquellas epocas. Gracias Chris por tan grande cancion.
Is this from a dvd or something?? If it is I wannahaveit! I've seen other chris cornell movies on youtube that looked like professional recordings.. I am very curious. Someone please let me know! Thanks for the vid!
This was a Molson-sponsored concert. I won tickets to the concert, as did everyone else who attended this concert, held at the Commodore, downtown Vancouver in September, 2007. There were professional camera men filming the entire concert. Chris even made a comment in regards to the number of them; he said something like "They're filming the shit out of this concert"
Subcomandantetroncos! You must be a Pearl Jam fan...? and, of course, a fan of Chris Cornell, Soundgarden, maybe Alice in Chains, too? Nice to meet you, friend! Long live grunge and REAL rock.
Has Chris Cornell performed in Vancouver more than once since he went solo? I was at his last show in Vancouver. But he was wearing white, and he actually ran out into the audience and sang Hunger Strike from within the crowd.
and it sounded a lot like i Chris's Soundgarden days, didn't it?:) yeach I think now he is ablo to reach really high pitch, high enough to undertake old Soundgarden goodies:)
Absolutely, but this is only recording of his current tour where he reached this high notes without sounding strained, it really gave me chills. He stopped smoking and drinking so let's hope this was only a prelude of things to come. Next tour Beyond The Wheel, Birth Ritual, alright I'm fantasising. Chris' the man.
This was how my day went...sons of bitches!!!
