The Giants' decision to play their starters in that final regular season game vs NE turned out to be the smartest idea ever; that game helped boost their confidence & swagger going into the playoffs. Funny how all the media were telling the G-Men to rest up for the playoffs, just because they wanted the Pats to complete the 16-0 season. How come they weren't telling the Pats to rest up also?? Gutsy effort by the G-Men in that game & it helped them for their playoff drive as we know:-D

OK, I'm a GB fan, but how in the world did NYG not have a hard playoff?

They played, I believe, three road playoff games. They went to Tampa, kicked their ass. Then went to 13-3 Dallas, barely beat them. Then they came here, and won at Lambeau in OT in freezing, awful conditions. That's was a BALLSY run. Then they go beat the 18-0 Patriots ... greatest postseason run in NFL history.
