i think you looked great before too you didn't need the surgery.. don't do anymore cause i saw this one woman who couldn't stop having surgery and it messed her whole face up! she almost died. but your nose is fine its not too wide not at all! good luck
@poobumchumable There is no turning back now for me.... So, I guess I just have to deal. Your right about that though in this video especially. I look pretty freaky in this video but that's what I looked like at the time. I did not want to sugar coat the whole process by only showing myself at good points versus bad.
hello u look good i was thinking doing fat grafting under the eyes and cheeks do u thinks it's worth it plus did ur fat fade away ? btw my english is not good lol i hope u anderstand me lol
I'll ask my surgeon more info about how he plans on doing the procedure. My surgery date is Feb 24.
Do you think in 2 weeks I'll be able to return to work? That might be hard to answer since swelling can be different for each person, but I'm just curious.
Thanks I'll have to check out the rest of your vids to compare your results.
BTW I hope my reply when I said you "look hot" didn't come off as sexist I just meant you look beautiful with your results.
@ronsyp Yes, I think you will be able to return to work after 2 weeks but you might still look swollen and kinda like a "cat" like how i looked at first and still kinda do now lol You should start taking Arnica Montana 2 weeks before your surgery and all through your recovery so you can de-swell faster. Also, taking vitamin C before and after should help too. I did not do that because they did not tell me until after my surgery. The nurse was like "have you been taking your Arnica?"
@ronsyp I was like "No, no one told me anything about that." and she was said "oh.. well... i guess you can start now." So, if I would have taken it prior maybe I would not have been so swollen and bruised and it could have dissipated faster. Too late for me but not for you :) You should make sure about all this with your doctor though. Also, don't ice your face after the fat transfer. It can freeze the fat and cause lumps and things. The spot where they harvest the fat from may be sore too.
@ronsyp Another piece of advice: Make a list of all your questions so you don't forget any of them because when you are in pain and feeling like a freak when you look in the mirror having all your questions answered will save you from getting too anxious. I did not do that either but I wish I had. Your "hot" comment did not come off sexist at all. I never even thought of it like that so no worries on that, but thanks for the compliment; it was really sweet.
@ronsyp Also, if you did not do this already, ask your doc to see as many before and after people as possible (not just the stuff on his website) so you can get a good idea of what to expect with his work. Ask him to show you people who look like you pre-op to see how you might look post-op and also get digital imaging so you have something to compare with.
@ronsyp Again, all things I wish I would have done but didn't lol. Like I said before, you can ask me as many questions as you want it does not bother me in the slightest.
@dermlover1 I plan on posting my surgery experience on the realself website, i'll give you a heads up when I do.
I was wondering about your fat transfer results.
Do you feel it made a significant difference in your appearance? would you say it was worth it? Are your cheeks even? I've read that possibly the fat can reasorb more on one side than the other so that's why I ask.
Any info you can give would be much appreciated since like i mentioned I'm likely getting this procedure done in 2 weeks
@ronsyp That would be awesome; for sure let me know when you post it and send me the link!! About the fat transfer results: Ok first off, yes I feel it made a difference in my appearance. My eyes do not look as tired as before. But your better off judging that by looking at my pre-op videos. Also, I feel it gave my face a little more shape in the cheek area. I am not sure if it is worth it yet. I would say yes it is worth it if it lasts longer than a few months to a year.
@ronsyp If it does not last, then I would say fillers would probably be more predictable and longer lasting in respect to re-absorption and swelling. I hear that the stem cells in the adipose tissue and act to regenerate skin making it look younger and fresher. I have read about some doctors who actually have a special method of removing and injecting the adipose along with extracted stem cells that have gotten good results.
@ronsyp I do not think my cheeks are asymmetrical but like I said before you should look at my pre-op and compare it to my post-op. If I could tell my former self one thing before the fat transfer I would say "Don't panic when you first see yourself. Your going to look very weird for the first few weeks but that is normal. You are going to feel very uncomfortable in the cheek and eye area. It feels like there is something stuck in there that you want to rip out. Be patient."
@ronsyp I don't know if i would do the fat transfer again though. If it fades too quickly I may just do fillers twice a year to combat my hollow eyes and flat cheeks. If the fat lasts for a few years then I would find it a worthwhile investment and I would invest in it again just to freshen myself up every few years. I hope I was able to help you somewhat with your questions. Feel free to ask me anything else and I will answer to the best of my ability. I hope your surgery goes great!!
@dermlover1 I plan on posting my surgery experience on the realself website, i'll give you a heads up when I do. I was wondering more about your fat transfer results.

No, I haven't got that far yet. I would like to find out more about it. Most people have it done under their eyes and there isn't too much information about upper eyelids.
I was thinking about having my upper eyelids filled with fat but the results seem mixed. Your results look very good. I am also looking into fillers but have heard it doesn't look as natural as fat in that area. Thanks for all your posts - they show what people really go through with these procedures.
@Ann8969 Thanks, that was my goal in these posts. Television can tend to make plastic surgery look glamorous and they don't really show the process of "getting there." Have you seen a surgeon regarding your questions about upper eyelid fat transfer? I would like to know what the doctor says about that, just out of curiosity. Let me know. :)
I'm also getting rhino this month and a chin implant. Actually since I'm getting both procedures done my surgeon recommended getting fat transfer to my cheeks and said he would do it for free!! So that's why I was checking out your video, to make sure it's worth doing the fat injections.
@ronsyp Thank you. Good luck with your surgery. I hope all goes well for you and things turn out the way you want them. Let me know how it goes. I would be very interested to know!
@Ann8969 I like the fat grafting. I like not looking as tired but I do not know how long it will last. I just wish that it was more permanent than it actually is. I think fillers are more predictable. Are you considering fat grafting?
You are TRIPPIN if you think your nose is too wide. It's SO cute! Trust me I'm a brutally honest person and I would tell you if it looked bad or fake or whatever. You really do look good and you look like a freakin teenager. You look like an 18 year old forreal. Your friend said your nose is a liitle wide? It's SUPPOSED to get a little wider at the end of your nose please trust me it is perfect and YOU JUST AREN'T USED TO IT YET.
@MISSrosySWEETasHONEY Your so right about me having to get used to my new nose. I guess when you live with one nose for 26 years it takes a while to warm up to a new one. I am a brutally honest too and I thank you for being honest with me :) xoxo
I think you look gorgeous! I had a look at your before video and wow you look like a different person :o You were beautiful before as well, but you look younger now it's really amazing.
@dermlover1 I think it's great, you have a cute little nose! I can see it's a little wide but honestly I'm gonna bet you are still swollen. Not that I've had any surgery myself but have always wanted to and have read that it can take up to like 6 months for swelling to go down entirely. And even if it stayed like it is now it looks really nice :)
Ur noseis cute,

You're nose is NOT too wide. I think it came out beautifully... any more narrow and you'd be a Jackson.
It's been 3 weeks in this video... it supposedly takes months for the swelling to go down.
Try some damn clearasil... you had your skin covered and building up oil/debre.
