Price of gas is driven by capitalism. Supply and demand; unless your in the US, where it is discounted by the gov't. As a Republican, you know this. The price is going up because consumption is going WAY up. This year consumption is estimated to be 87.4 million barrels a day. That exceeds the pre-recession peak. YES, it's painful but, it shows this economy is getting back to where it should be. Stop whining about gas prices & start doing something about it. Alternative energy and mass transit!
