I was going to write more on my idea but it's getting too long here. But in short there could be a lot of issues here, magical mixed with normal teenage/growing up issues which I think would have drawn in a lot of viewers. I'm beginning to get myself talked into starting to write on a fanfic about this idea...I so don't have time for that right now. 'laughs' Who sings the song btw?

You're thinking of Supernatural I think. They didn't have to make the show just about the 2 sons. They could make a Charmed: The Next Generation type of show, keeping Wyatt and Chris as main leads given they are the eldest but including a larger cast of characters consisting of Charmed kids younger than them as well.

Oh, and I agree. I had hoped they would do a spin off which had the boys in them. Considering how popular shows like Smallville, X-men: Evolution and Harry Potter are I don't understand why they cannot see that doing a spin off with younger stars would work wonderfully.

The reason is what you just mentioned.. because there are already too many spin-off like Supernatural and stuff.. and it would just be the same thing as them.. Thats why they didn't make a spin-off.. They were concidering it I think but they never finished it off..
