I was scared that Trilby died when I played this. But he didn't!!! Now that your done here play trilbys notes, than 7 days a stranger, and 6 days a sacrifice.
i think i know why jhon can't tell the diffrence between 2 people. when he controls people, they always put on that welding mask, so maby thats how he sees everything.
I don't know the exact name of the song, but I know it's one of the MIDIs that comes with RPG Maker. Of course, this series didn't get custom music until Trilby's Notes, so it's understandable.
To me, audio commentary is the biggest reason to watch a Let's Play rather than just playing the game yourself.
Text commentary, though, is less effective. I find it harder to both watch what's going on and read text commentary than to use my eyes for watching the game and my ears for listening to the commentary.
Although in this case, given how story-driven the game is, commentary isn't as necessary, so you may have a point here.
Man, Thanks a lot for putting this up here! I played it a while ago.. But only got as far as being blamed for murder and being locked in the shed... Then I got a bit too creeped out to play! :D
Thanks again dude, it was good to find out what happened. :)
Whoah! I've gone through this videos and this game looks AWESOME!! Really old-school adventure, too.
Is it possible to die in this game (is this Sierra or Lucas? :P)?
Also, I don't know why people say this game had so many "gory cutscenes". When I read that, I visualized that the cutscenes would be hand-drawn and animated... But I mean, pixels can't be that bloody :P.
I may take a closer look at this saga and finish them all myself. Thanks for the speedrun, man!
It's not a speedrun, this is just a let's play. Also, Neither Sierra or LucasArts made this, Remember, this is "Yahtzee" Croshaw we're talking about. But yes, you can die around 2-3 times in this game.
Well, getting over a graphic adventure in 1:30h is still pretty speedy :P.
I also know this was an independent proyect. I saw it @ Abandonia. But you know, it's always been like Sierra and Lucas adventures were the two main types... :P
You can die on day 4 by the Welder if you don't pull the rug. And you can die at the end if you summon him without the proper setup first. I think that's it.
Loved Trilby.

That music at around 1:20 is so familiar...What game is it from?
Ben500 3 years ago
It vaguely reminds of Chrono Trigger... but it's definatley not the same.

A tip for the next series your making: Make audio or text commentary to the videos, that will make the excellence of this go trough the roof! :)
Good work, nice to know someone else likes the game too!

I personally don't like audio or text commentary in 'Let's Play' videos. Kinda ruins a bit..
WeinSnoken 3 years ago
I agree. Plus, these Chzo Myth games have a creepy atmosphere that would be ruined with commentary, y'know?
Ben500 3 years ago
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm trying to say. That creepy atmosphere is, I think, a big part of why the Chzo Mythos games are as great as they are.

I always wondered...What was the point of pulling that plug in the TV room?
Jerails 4 years ago
If you watched through my videos you would understand. If I remember right it was used to make something to attract to said person's resting place.
Melcadrien 4 years ago
Oh, now I get it. You used the plug to make an item.

Is that title music really from RPG Maker (or the RTP)? What's it called?

RPG Maker 2000, and yes it is.
