Used to always watch this show when i had to work late, always on at like 1 or 2 a.m. on CBS,own the collection on dvd and still enjoy watching the show , i recently looked up John David Bland who played Ian to see what he was up to and some places say he died, but i can't get a definitive answer, does anyone know? If it's true , such a loss....Thank you for posting this intro in such great quality :)

I was 9 when i 1st saw this show i used to watch it with my cousin ,that time when i am not at home and maybe is about to start in 30minutes time she will try to find me and i was doing the same.this reminds me of my childhood couse we used to love this so much we used to watch it with our parents ohh bless them .good days never returns but memory always back in mind ..my cousin past away when we were 22 n i miss her so much ..but when i m watching something like this i smile n cry ,RIP Tash

@qkavari RIP to your cousin.I was also 9 years old when i started watching and forever became mesmerized with this fantastic legendary series.I have great,exciting,happy memories of being obsessed with the time so that i never missed when it was on.Everything about the series just stays stuck on your heart.

the show was shot in Mexico, Israel, South Africa and Mauritius all to pass off the fictional florida key mariah.

it was a canadian co-production and aired on CBS late night for three seasons.

during this period you would see the same canadian actors turn up on these shows (highlander, forever knight, etc)
