Im a metal head for starters. And Vox is a great amp. all around. I bought a vox ac4tv and built a cab with a celestion greenback 25 watt speaker.. And it is as good as if i was playing a marshall...

I just traded a Super Champ for this one. I know it will be good. Can I ask you if you made a closed -back cabinet for your Greenback ? I guess you did. Do you think measures for the cab are important ? Thanks

No actually is an open back cab. Easier to work with and theres not a much pressure on the speaker when playing loud. And yes the demensions of the cab are very important.

its loud, if you want to crank it. and if not, you have to put up thewattage anyway for a good clean

do u think this amp would cut through in a drummer with a closed back 1x12?

Tried it with an alnico blue cab (the one under the AC4 in the vid) and it's way louder but still lacking some headroom for live gigs I'd say. But if you don't need perfectly clean tones, yes it woul dbe ok for small pubs gigs.
