You could just as easily ask why didn't OWS join the Tea Party, and I think you know the answer... they're fundamentally similar in their grievances, but their solutions and whom they place the blame on are quite different. My point is OWS seems infinitely less of a force, unless it decides to get off their "we don't need leaders" ethos, which will eventually smother them.
