I'm sorry to say this, but anyone that liked this movie never played the game. The movie did a complete 180 on the game plot. I understand that the movie didn't need to be an EXACT replica of the game, but the movie lacked ALOT of adventure, Sands of time usage, a little more acrobatics, and what happened to princess Farrah and the bad guy was the princes uncle? Sad...The game plot was perfect as is and would be a perfect movie plot had they stuck w/ original concept and Minor tweaking.

Amazing movie. Dastan means Story, by the way. And the attire which the princess wore in the middle of the movie till the third last scene is very similar to what we wear everyday in our country. Anyway, she looked really nice and Jake Gyllenhaal was a good choice for the Prince's character.

Just came from the Movie. One word "BRILLIANT". Absolutely adored it. Took me back to the good ol' young days of my life when we use to play the original Prince of Persia, 1 & 2. The movie depicted the game very very well.

The actors did justice to the characters. Cinematography was excellent. Graphics were simply amazing. Script & humour was brilliant. Acting was awesome.

However, the only drawback was the British english. They could have done without it to keep the Persian taste alive. 5*

There is a newer trailer of this movie shown at San Francisco Wondercon 2010 which shows Jake's arm turn into a demon-like entity; one that resembles the one seen in the game Warrior Within and also the Two Thrones. This only happens when he uses his time
