Mines are closed because people explore unprepared. Most of the group doesn't even have helmets or lights. If there's a question "Should we do this?", it's probably not a good idea.
@RetroElectroville Thanks for the comment. Agreed! This video was filmed back in 2000 when I was still in High School and had no parental supervision. As I've become more experienced in the outdoors I've learned to be safe while exploring the outdoors. Always a helmet for climbing and canyoneering....No more mine exploration...the wife won't let me.
We have to do what our hearts want to do, just with our head on our shoulders. My wife saw that I would go stir crazy if I didn't explore, she bit the bullet because she wants to keep me sane...hahaha
