ok i got a piece done really nice, i sanded it all down and worked up to 1000 grit and got out all the scratches, then i hit it with the buffing wheel and over all it looks awesome except the entire piece is covered with micro scratches that come from the buffing wheel. how do i get rid of them? once there gone its a perfect piece!
You could use a firm putty knife or flat screw driver to clean out the wheel (use it like a rake). But I would guess that you may need to go back over the piece with 400 grit. You probably have deep scratches that need to come out better. If you sand the piece really well you can get away with just using the green rouge.
@Glassworks1 i actually did whole piece with 220 then 600 then 1000. its seams that half are sanding scratches that i will have to go over again however the other half are from the buffing wheel as they are strait and follow the direction i buffed. so i will hit the entire piece again with 600 and 1000 and then rebuff it. will a dry wheel cause scratches? the piece i'm working on is 2 feet long and i hit the wheel with rouge twice.

I believe you need to work out the 220 scratches better. Sand it for alonger period of time with 600 or try 400.

Never flip you sand paper face down on you work bench, it contaminated the paper picking up dirt
