Heard it on Chuck - great song. Thought the Editors had disapeared. I was a big fan of their first ambum " the back room" years ago. Thought they had disbaned until i started watching Chuck seaosn 2 for a second time. Great TV show by the way.

Not only is chuck one of the best shows on TV, but it also uses a lot of songs from under rated bands that I otherwise would not come to know of. chuck introduced me to a wider musical reality, The Editors being one of them.

@SongBirdiess This song was also in a season 1 episode of Chuck. Oddly, the only episode of The Vampire Diaries I've ever seen was 1x06. In both instances, the song is playing in the background, but it has little to nothing to do with the context of the scenes. It's kind of weird, because if used with a really poignant scene, it would probably be one of the best scenes of any show that features this song.

These are some seriously profound lyrics. Their entire album is great. If you look at the lyrics to all the songs, they are all pretty sad and depressing even the upbeat songs.
