I has a car that would drive forwards and turn left when in reverse. If you wanted to turn right, you'd have to drive backwards 270 degrees :).

There is a old toy robot that works similar: motor forward is "do selected action" motor reverse is "select action" Actions can be forward reverse turn left/right/blink eyes/make noise... The Tomy "verbot" used this...

You could make 1 motor do any number or actions this way, but not at the same time!!

that is just amazing.I'm getting a NXT for my birthday(must wait a month:( ) and im gonna try to build something that can destroy objects (cans, carboard boxes and such things) and i think im gonna use a knife, a hammer and all the sensors and motors:) i hope it will work so check my accaunt in about a month cuz i will post it.
