  • This is great. An excellent bit of musicology in your essay on the piece as well. This back-engineering is one of those genius things that only seems obvious once someone does it.

  • Bravo. Many pianists should listen to your version to get the real notion of how this piece should be performed. Rhythmic and dry... a banjo sound.

    Someone posted "Souvenirs d 'Andalousie" on the Classic Banjo Ning so I was looking up Gottschalk and found this. It's a a wonderful piece.
