    Mon père et grand parents était aussi de cette région, d'un villayette appelé Soussouri, je pense qu'aujourd'hui disparu ou nomée d'un autre nom. J'habite au Brésil. Très heureuse de voir la danse.

  • lol silly ara has no relation to tanzara, tammuz is an assyrian month and ara means land...this song has assyrian roots the guy even said that its anonymous to armenians and it was given to them by the assyrian influence..i love tanzara :D

  • Dakhit Brother assyrian2NV, you might have had to much raki to drink :). Listen closely to what Mr. Anooshian states at the beginning. He states "synonymous" to Armenian dance, not "anonymous". There is an Assyrian website that tells the Tamzara story, the Armenian variation and Assyrian variation. It states the story is about Ara the beautiful (Armenian King) and Queen Shamiram,

  • There is actually a village called Tamzara in Turkey still, it's on the road to Giresun from Sabin Karahisar. I've been there and the people are very nice.
