Thanks! Have to say well done to whoever made this. What an excellent collection of classics throughout the ages..since you seem to know your music here's a question. I hear this song all the time on the radio, in shopping centres etc...yet i NEVER catch it, its a 70s or 80s power ballad...suppose would sound a bit like the scorpians...the chorus goes like...'nah-na-na-nah na-na-nah na-na-nah'...i'm sorry cant describe it any other way, if you know would appreciate it! No. 34 Deep Purple "Soldier of Fortune." Picture of band has Ian Gillan as singer. He had left the band by '74. David Coverdale sang this song (I didn't like his singing). The band broke up two years later. Deep Purple reunited in 1984 with Gillan as lead singer. In my opinion best hard rock singer ever. Plus he can sing the "softer" music. Voice has suffered (he's now 66 and still performing with DP), but he was terrific in '70s and '80s, of course. Even some good stuff in '90s and 2000s.
