We have never tried it with Goat's milk yogurt...but it should work. We suggest you make a smaller batch and experiment :0

  • Great job....looks great!

  • Ladies i hope you are not thinking you will save calories with using oil vrs butter. They are exactly the same 9 calories per gram. So don't be cheap just use ghee, and refined oils are bad for you(rancidity and free radicals are in most refined oils because it's heated to remove the flavors).. Hope that fixes your worries. Outside of that nice recipe.

  • @Scootermagoo I think they're aware abt that. It's never a matter of calorie - its the saturated fat content.

  • Hey Girls...thanks a lot for such a wonderful recipe! I too have been to Chokhi Dhaani many times and whenever I visit India, I make it a point to visit Chokhi Dhaani too... :)

  • @WaterGirl49 : Asafoetida is a spice that is used in a lot of Indian cooking. It has a a very strong pungent smell (odor)! It is available at Indian Grocery Stores and a little goes a long way. It is basically a digestive aid. You can skip it if you do not have it available.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry ........Asafoetida is Called "HEING" in hindi....and hello

  • @WaterGirl49 I brought it in an asia shop. It was in a little yellow pot/box with 50 g.
