@kewkabe Thats what makes him unique dip shit. All of his brothers played different instruments. He applied all his brothers techniques. For example, the taping of chords is like a piano, using his thumb like a pick as in guitar, and slapping and popping like a drummer. This is arguably the most rounded bassist ever.

True, Victor must have put in an unbelievable amount of work to be this good, but there are plenty of musicians who spend as much time on technical work, but VERY of them have anywhere near the natural musical talent and feeling as him. I could spend my entire life working to be as good as him, but it wouldn't matter, because I don't have anything like the musicality that he has. God-given talent is certainly relevant. It's not everything, but it matters.

I agree that it's all Vic. Yes there's ton of hard work in there, but the mental aspect is just as important. He's got an incredibly unique approach to his craft and that in itself separates him from the rest. Vic is truly a blessing and such a gem in the music world.
