for me,i would choose vivid wireless for sure.as it's offering unlimited data package which is telstra doesnt have.you autralian people is lucky enough as there's unlimited 4G provider as compared to me in Malaysia.yes 4G is sucks man.it's really expensive.
You have to understand though, Telstra's 4G only has a coverage of about 5 to 10 km from the Perth CBD in Western Australia. Vivid Wireless has a far better coverage area and is a hell of a lot cheaper than Telstra's 4G at the moment (as of 03/DEC/2011).
@mattiegeesus Telstra's 4G coverage operates (or will by year's end) in most cities and major rural townships, and reverts back to the dual HSPA+ network (max 42mbps) when 4G isn't available.
I know that true 4G is supposed to be 100mb/sec, but I also know that's very hard to hit for now. It's been pissing me off that here in the US every carrier is advertising 4g, and the best ones can only hit 14mb/sec. Telstra may not be 100mb/sec, but god damn 50mb/sec is amazing!! This just shows how far behind the US is and how much the cellular companies here are lying to us about what 4g is and what it's capable of.
@Kage6100 I didn't say it isn't. I was pointing out that VZW's network is just as capable as Telstra's. Seeing as how they are the both using LTE on 10x10MHz channels.
smoke signals are the way to go....nothing but old schol here :)
