While I do not agree with the homophobic, racist and generally backwards things Tea Party members say and believe, the 1st Amendment grants them that right. Fairtax pretends to get most of government revenue by TAXING the government.
Read page 148 "The federal government itself will become a MAJOR TAXPAYER".
Nor only federal government -- but states and cities will have to pay huge sales taxes on things like highways - prisions anything.
Let me see -- you can't tax corporations cause they just pass on the cost - but you can tax the government??
