Very nice - I cannot tell but I suspect that is a Bb soprano rather than an Eb Alto. I have not seen a Soprano in that format.

@denis4510 You are talking about the sax, right? Well, yes, that's definately a curved soprano (as I state in the descriptionn of the video). I like the tone too, and that vibratto that Andrea does is great... Andrea also plays the Alto sax, you can see an example on my video "On The Sunny Side of the Street".

Andrea does not have the power of Sydney bechet nor the cutting tone or the drama of his musical statements, that being said no one else does either as a second best this could be as good as we get. Good enough for me.

@jknutbens True, Bachet is unique, and hes Andrea's inspiration on this theme. We shouldn't forget that she was 15 at this time (16 now), and her interpretations are incredible for that age, but I am sure she'll mature as a musician, and she will get so much better... But I personally think it's one of the less dramatic and emotive interpretations I've heard of this song by her. She did an outstadning performance in Sant Cugat, there's a video, but poor quality, but have a look, I recommend it.
