Ok, maybe it wasn't supposed to be funny, but there were some parts that weren't making a point. Colbert couldn't really balance his Bush-worshipping character and the awful truth because it was quite raw, and it's a little impossible to do it with the president next to him.

At least his 'audition' video could've been interesting. Bush only laughed when Colbert muttered "call me" to one of the female reporters. Laughing at a generic joke! Owch.
