if he started with the boxing glove first, he might have lost a lil bit of power and energy over time. which would make him punch not as explosive with the mma and bare fist. making the results inaccurate. possibly?
mma gloves do cut the opponent less then a bare knuckle but the boxing glove does the same damage to the brain with less external effects. A fighter can take a ton of damage without looking cut up.
OMG! MMA people just deal with it! The gloves make next to no difference. And remember gloves were introduced into boxing many years ago to protect the hands not the head. Boxers spar with bigger gloves to protect their hands and use head guards to protect their heads. You see how it all makes sense now.
@lusby16 Well it 'obviously' isn't. That's why they are doing it! The difference between gloves as this clip shows is minimal. I have been hit by both and it's the same. I think MMA people are desperate to make themselves out as hard as boxers for some reason when in reality they are different sports with limited transferable skills.
@Easyandy100 hahaha dont be stupid, the mma glove is lighter therefore it can be thrown faster and it has less padding! so stop talking rubbish, and i dont care if you have been hit with both because that has nothing to do with it you muppet!
and this show have made the results closer because it is more interesting, stop being naive
@lusby16 LOL! What an idiot! 'the mma glove is lighter therefore it can be thrown faster' And you call me naive? Hahahaha. So first hand experience has 'nothing to do with it'? You fckwit. There is no difference.
Whats with that thumb? And btw... the force is exactly the same but with the gloves power is distributed over a larger area so the punch is not that hard. What kind of "documentary" is this?
Bas would fuck all of you up in a street fight. Poor technique? That man is the god of MMA. Also, Bas did most of his fighting in Pancrase, which is open hand striking.
@RagingWartortle Afterwards you probably took Bas in the back and practiced your jiu-jitsu Triangle chokes on him, then after wards you let him take full mount. Bitch
There's another video of a 140 lb female boxer, named Lucia Rijker, who generated over 900 lbs of force on a crash test dummy. Bas only managed just over 600 lbs. I guess Bas can't even punch like a girl.
@cypresscoach dude look at the video she used technique not a straight up punch if Bas uses the same technique his going too to have twice the punching force
@alecsnr100 The object was to punch as hard as possible. Why would he not punch as hard as possible? Your explanation is illogical. The point of my comment is, Bas has poor technique.
I think this was a realistic measurment of a fighters punching power. Sometimes they do shit like this, and have a guy like George St. Pierre deliver 2000 lbs of force with a jab.
problem...only one punch means low sample size so results are not accurate. then bas did not rest significant periods (it seems) between punches so he might have gotten tired and the readings for the mma glove and fist would be lower than actual values
@pikanoob Then again you weren't there, don't know the details, and you're some internet geek instead of an actual scientist. Thus, you should keep your comments to yourself and enjoy the video. :)
I always had the feeling that the reason why MMA fighters get Knocked Out so easily was because most of them are actually college educated white kids who don't have it mentally to take a punch. Even in Thailand, they do those bare knuckle muay thai matches and eat bare elbows, knees, and shins to the face all night long and they never get completely knocked out like the white kids in MMA.
@JerenWalker think you are misunderstanding something, when you punch someone bare knuckled you will produce more force when you hit them but you tend to subconsciously not throw as hard a punch because you know it will damage your own hand alot easier, when you have padding you throw harder punches because you are protected, and the shock of the blow is reduced so you don't cause yourself as much damage, you can't really test is hitting a punch bag, a wall would be better
Well its good experiment but its not perfect. its more sensational and emotional than scientific. If If I would organise this test, I would set 10 checks on strike and hook on bare hands, boxing gloves and mma gloves. I also think striking with boxing gloves may differ in speed, they weigh more and they are larger so their aeorydynamics can make them slower.
@proudmary86 Also it really is very important on how u set the sensors. Sensors can be set to calculate the stab effect (which not neccesarry can be reliable) or crush effect. Both of these methods have their adv and disadv, I think it should be calculated both and compare the results.
boxing is completly drifferent to MMA and shudn't be compared. MMA last a shorter duriation (as there is less rounds) and includes kick, punchin grappleing etc.
Boxing is more based on body movement head movement and is more of a science... also can last much longer meaning u need to be able to last long duritation of pain, weathers in mma its shorter but quicker blows so u also need a drifferent mind set.
I linke boxing more but comparing them is like comparing golf and tennis...
@WeAreChampions234 I was refering to the idiots who came here to fight over which is better :P and like you say the video is about punching power in each of the gloves not about the sport ;-)
@ThemastermindPr No way! You need to know ALOT more stuff in MMA. I train jiu jitsu and let me tell ya, there's a shit load to remember, but yes, like any other martial art, it takes skill
@jsharps1000 well technically, mma is as it stands mix martial arts, so yes in a sense one boxing is an art/sport and mma is combination of two or more styles say muay thai and bjj, but boxing alone (i never really watch it, just have trained in it before) is pretty hard by itself, only using your hands not using your legs to switch roundhouse say from muay thai or karate or tae kwon do is different from what you're used to. boxing is considered one of the best for punching wise.
THe padding only protects the surface skin - NOT the tissue and bone underneath. That still gets rocked. Serious. MMA lets you easier spot dmage due to skin tears - keeping fights shorter.
You guys realize that the surface area argument only proves why the BARE KNUCKLES did more damage, not the boxing gloves. When you punch with both sets of gloves, the area making contact with the target is roughly the same, which accounts for the neglible difference in force output. Using bare knuckles forced a roughly equal force over an increased surface area (4 pointed knuckles) which is why that reading was significantly higher. The only reason MMA gloves are condensed to allow grappling.
2 different sports, however i am mma bias. in mma we headhunt, fights are shorter & grappling i involved so its important to hit hard every single punch. boxing is your so called "chess match" lighter punches to expose them to he big finish. more time in a fight to manipulate your opponent. the ko in mma is more significant since fighters can follow to he ground & then he fight is over. boxing you can stan back up
@michaelg0mez in MMA if you get rocked you can go to the ground and tie up to recover. in boxing after you get rocked you have to stand back up and trade punches when you are barely conscious.
So bascially mma fighters have all got glass jaws compared on average to Boxers...cos ive seen evander holyfield walk thru Mike Tysons punches for 10 rounds...and I can only imagine the force Tysons punches can generate lol
@mrthunder92 Cain throws his punches entirely different that dos santos. Cain throws to be accurate and to land combinations, whereas dos santos just waits for the right time to throw the club and rip your head off. Of course the comparison of Cain and Tyson is just retarded lol, don't know how anybody can be dumb enough to think cain can throw harder punches than a prime tyson lol.
i was thinking something like that as well, sense the boxing gloves give more support to the wrist it would explain why it is so close to the mma gloves which do not give support but have less padding thus the pro from less padding is negated but weaker wrist.
@Crazylalalalala Basically what the scientists are saying is that a guy can punch as hard as himself. Which is common sense. They didnt take into effect that MMA gloves are smaller, and the force is concentrated into a smaller area, which wouldnt make them hit harder per say, but it would do a lot of damage in a smaller amount of space. Which is perfect for knocking people out, since knockouts usually require hard, precise hits to a specific part of the jaw.
That's some pretty feeble punching power there Bas. Rocky Marciano was 20 pounds lighter than you, and generated 1100 ft/lbs of force. Then again, 700 is more than enough to knock someone's head off.
The scientists are being stupid if they are using force to calculate human damage. Let me use an extreme example: I have a stick and a sword with the same lenght, weight and same distribution of weight throughout its lenght. If I swing them at the same speed and strenght and keep the other factors constant, they would impact with the same amount of force. Say my target is a leg. would the severity of the damage caused by the two blows be the same?
@Smileyfacedkiller I didn't even talk about gloves in my comment, and i said it was the extreme example. Anyway you fail at logic, so believe whatever you want you moron.
You were using it to compare their use of force to determine damage of boxing and mma gloves. So, basically, you were comparing the boxing and mma gloves to swords and sticks lol. And I fail at logic? Also, what's the point of using an extreme example and then calling the scientist stupid when they are using examples more relevant to their topic than you did.
@Smileyfacedkiller The point being, they hit with the same about of force, but the MMA gloves have a smaller surface area, therefore the force is more concentrated into said smaller area. Since knocking someone out requires a lot of force in a small area, an MMA glove will do the trick better than a boxing glove. Basically this test determined that the guy can punch with the same amount of force twice. And thats kinda common sense isnt it?
@TheStJames23 geez is it really that hard to understand that a smaller area of impact makes a difference in damage. The difference between blunt vs sharp is the area of impact after all. If i say a blunt sword, would it change my argument? no.
@heartlessjerk Well the sword would create more force upon impact because of the blade is a smaller area where as a stick is blunt has can distribute it's force over a larger area.
@heartlessjerk well, in this experiment they're comparing relativley similar 'blunt' objects and seeing which has the strongest impact. In this case it would make sense to use force as a way of measurement.
@heartlessjerk Completely different story, stick and sword deals damage to a human body in a completely different manner. Blades rely on their thin edge to create high pressure (Pressure=Force/Area) so assuming same strength is used. blades will always create more pressure compared to a stick. That's why they can break the skin and cut into the flesh. Bare Knuckle, MMA glove and Boxing gloves deal damage in a roughly the same way hence the method used is quite valid
@heartlessjerk If what you're saying is if calculated the pressure mma glove generate will be higher pressure than boxing gloves, I agree. Should the scientist use pressure unit instead of force? maybe. But everyone understands what Force means, Pressure in context of damage to a human body? Not everyone understand that concept
As far as I'm concerned, for a TV show it's a good enough comparison, you want the real science? look into scientific journals not some TV show
@heartlessjerk its just an average, the probaly did it multiple times, its impossible to do it exact as you say :P but the also measure crocodile bite power etc which also differs every time... guess this is just to help us understand its closer then we think
@heartlessjerk Exactly. Not just that but they only take one reading per option instead of finding the avarage of say 30 tries per option. That's TV science for you.
lol.. common sense.. stick has no sharp edges but both MMA gloves and boxing gloves are used by hands .. they are testing what hits harder.. even if you have the same force if you are using sword against stick, you will know the answer without testing. but with both using hands, MMA gloves is hard to define if it hits harder than boxing gloves..
@heartlessjerk its called area of effected damage, if its spread out then its less devastating. its like landing on foot instead of two, hurts more...
@heartlessjerk boxing gloves are proven to knock people out easyer than mma gloves and bare fist but mma and bare fist cause more cuts so really it depends on what type of damage coz its easyer to be kod in boxing
@heartlessjerk thats why they said ''which hits harder'' not which is the most damaging hitting someone with a bat and then hitting someone with a bat with a nail through it, one would be far more damaging but they would have the same amount of measurable force and thats what this video is about
@choyleefutkid1 yah i agree a hundred percent because when i spar with boxing gloves i attain blunt force so that is why there are more rounds in boxing than in MMA. MMA gloves that are used by fighters punch isconcentrated to a specific point. But Boxing gloves arenot "pillows" because it hurts like a bitch, but to my point boxing gloves dispurse the energy of impact. ANd my biggest thing is that Boxers which i love, take more punishment in a fight whick gets me pumped and that is wat wariors r.
@choyleefutkid1 you retarded? have you ever been punched by even one of them?
when i do sparring with a mate we will be wearing different gloves depending on the style we fight in and i can tell you - i prefer to be hit with a boxing glove than mma glove!!!
but better is not to get hit in the first place ;)
@mosesjiujitsu Boxing gloves protect the boxers hand not their opponent, in fact boxing has had more injuries and deaths since the introduction of the boxing glove as we know it as fighters are now able to hit the head and jaw where before, bare fisted it would (potentially) break your hand. MMA gloves are made because you need to perform more delicate tasks and so the fingers are exposed and free moving, whats the expression horses for courses? They both protect the hand but have different uses
@Willyj1230 - valid point, but if you are trained at some point it doesnt matter how hard you hit - your knuckle won't feel anyway + imagine strapping a pillow to the fist (it will hurt your hand less but also the catching face^^) and then again a mma glove makes also a big difference because it kinda stabilises your fist when you hit and IMO it takes a lot of damage out of the hand but doesnt make a big difference to the face
0:43 lmao!!! look at this retard!!! he can´t hit correctly with a fucking punch!!! no fucking skill with the hands, the mma fighters are like a caveman with the hands
@BlackHairedGoon the mma fighters are fucktards with hands, no skill, fucking monkeys, i am bigger ,faster ,stronger and more skilled than you could dream ever, mma punk
@BlackHairedGoon obviously this mma fighter knows his shit, he is not a pro fighter for nothing, my point is that comparing with a pro boxer he hits like a retard with hands , anyway you can´t know even if he hits correctly or not because you are a punk fat bucket of garbage who never trained a shit, you are nothing but a video game player freak, you watched this video casually and you did comment for fun, maybe you think that it is the game call of duty.... stupid kid
Ha, funny of you to assume that, do you speak from experience, or are you simply autistic?
If you weren't completely retarded you have to take into account that he likely has to hit a specific spot for the test - depending on how it's set up, and he has the time for shot placement.
obviously it proves that a boxer (puncher) hits much harder than a mma fighter (puncher) with the hands, some boxers killed people in the ring with boxing gloves, hell, a prime tyson, george foreman, sonny liston, earnie shavers, david tua would bomb out the mma fighters with mma gloves, and boxer has weapons in his hands
mma i can go to the ground and pull guard wen im hit, i can fake falling down like thales leites vs anderson silva. wen i fall i can pull guard and hold my opponent close... remember that in boxing ur both standing non stop (no clinching and holding against the fence). u guys are constantly under the possibility of having a shot hitting u in your face, every split second of the match. Alot more intimidating (thus why toney felt 0 intimidation vs couture)
@JMort95 MMA fighters do more than just haymakers. MMA is what boxing would look like in a more realistic situation because in a fight where you have to worry about kicks, takedowns, knees, elbows etc your stances and timing may change etc.
Boxing is still an art in it's purest form however.
The glove doesnt matter too much see a boxer who trains boxing all night and day compared to and mma fighter who trains boxing maybe 1/3 of the time is probably gonna hit alot harder
@themanwith6 even he they don't train boxing they could be training muay tai, karate, etc which is still striking, including punching. So while the boxer is training hand strikes standing, the MMA fighter is training that amongst multiple arts
@BLaCkKsHeEp Dude its not the wrong way. Its a hook from a streetfighter. If you use the vertical fist you could injure your little knuckles when your opponent moves his head.
The little knuckle will break and will never be repeared.
you may be right with the "street fighter" thing but its still not the proper way to throw a hook.
youre supposed to have your palms facing downwards (palms facing the floor) and have your two bigger knuckles do the work for you. a hook like that is a good way to hurt your wrist and your elbows.
@BLaCkKsHeEp No dude, there is no supposed you have your palm facing down. Its just the way you prefer to hit. There are many PRO boxers and PRO fighters like Bas who hit like this video. You can injure your fist, wrist or knuckles easily with hitting both ways.
@minasz not really. its more of where the punch landed. Hitting the jaw with 6lbs of force will cause a knockout if it causes their head to jerk. Apart from the jaw behind the ear can knock you out, not as easily though
@biggmoneyme What I mean with getting knocked out caused by a punch you didnt see is that you have always your guard. your defence. And you get hit cuz you didnt see the punch coming so there s no defence. A hit dont have to be as hard as this video says to get knocked out. Many got knocked out by a ghost punch. A little hit on the chin they never saw it coming.
if he started with the boxing glove first, he might have lost a lil bit of power and energy over time. which would make him punch not as explosive with the mma and bare fist. making the results inaccurate. possibly?

isk8erboi 1 month ago
@isk8erboi
i was thinking something like that as well, sense the boxing gloves give more support to the wrist it would explain why it is so close to the mma gloves which do not give support but have less padding thus the pro from less padding is negated but weaker wrist.
Crazylalalalala 4 weeks ago
@Crazylalalalala Basically what the scientists are saying is that a guy can punch as hard as himself. Which is common sense. They didnt take into effect that MMA gloves are smaller, and the force is concentrated into a smaller area, which wouldnt make them hit harder per say, but it would do a lot of damage in a smaller amount of space. Which is perfect for knocking people out, since knockouts usually require hard, precise hits to a specific part of the jaw.
narwhalsandjuice 3 weeks ago
That's some pretty feeble punching power there Bas. Rocky Marciano was 20 pounds lighter than you, and generated 1100 ft/lbs of force. Then again, 700 is more than enough to knock someone's head off.
cypresscoach 1 month ago
@choyleefutkid1 That's not a fair comparison. The MMA fighters were retarded before they started fighting.
cypresscoach 1 month ago
The scientists are being stupid if they are using force to calculate human damage. Let me use an extreme example: I have a stick and a sword with the same lenght, weight and same distribution of weight throughout its lenght. If I swing them at the same speed and strenght and keep the other factors constant, they would impact with the same amount of force. Say my target is a leg. would the severity of the damage caused by the two blows be the same?

comparing boxing gloves and mma gloves to a stick and a sword is plain stupid.
Smileyfacedkiller 4 weeks ago
@Smileyfacedkiller I didn't even talk about gloves in my comment, and i said it was the extreme example. Anyway you fail at logic, so believe whatever you want you moron.
heartlessjerk 4 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk
Smileyfacedkiller 3 weeks ago
@Smileyfacedkiller The point being, they hit with the same about of force, but the MMA gloves have a smaller surface area, therefore the force is more concentrated into said smaller area. Since knocking someone out requires a lot of force in a small area, an MMA glove will do the trick better than a boxing glove. Basically this test determined that the guy can punch with the same amount of force twice. And thats kinda common sense isnt it?
narwhalsandjuice 3 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk
typical mma noob
Smileyfacedkiller 4 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk I don't think that's a fair comparison. The video is comparing three blunt force attacks, you compare blunt vs sharp.
TheStJames23 3 weeks ago
@TheStJames23 geez is it really that hard to understand that a smaller area of impact makes a difference in damage. The difference between blunt vs sharp is the area of impact after all. If i say a blunt sword, would it change my argument? no.
heartlessjerk 3 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk Well the sword would create more force upon impact because of the blade is a smaller area where as a stick is blunt has can distribute it's force over a larger area.
ChukCharcoales 3 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk area of impact
roughxvr 3 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk and the material of the thing that hits (hard o soft)
roughxvr 3 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk well, in this experiment they're comparing relativley similar 'blunt' objects and seeing which has the strongest impact. In this case it would make sense to use force as a way of measurement.
xx6F2Lxx 3 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk Completely different story, stick and sword deals damage to a human body in a completely different manner. Blades rely on their thin edge to create high pressure (Pressure=Force/Area) so assuming same strength is used. blades will always create more pressure compared to a stick. That's why they can break the skin and cut into the flesh. Bare Knuckle, MMA glove and Boxing gloves deal damage in a roughly the same way hence the method used is quite valid
m72ar 3 weeks ago
@m72ar so you're telling me boxing gloves, mma gloves and bare knuckles have the same area of impact? ok.
heartlessjerk 3 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk If what you're saying is if calculated the pressure mma glove generate will be higher pressure than boxing gloves, I agree. Should the scientist use pressure unit instead of force? maybe. But everyone understands what Force means, Pressure in context of damage to a human body? Not everyone understand that concept
As far as I'm concerned, for a TV show it's a good enough comparison, you want the real science? look into scientific journals not some TV show
m72ar 3 weeks ago
@m72ar bare knuckles has different impact/area from padded protection, adds extra effect when used bare
sanjae2 3 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk its just an average, the probaly did it multiple times, its impossible to do it exact as you say :P but the also measure crocodile bite power etc which also differs every time... guess this is just to help us understand its closer then we think
Pineapple0Production 2 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk Exactly. Not just that but they only take one reading per option instead of finding the avarage of say 30 tries per option. That's TV science for you.
28daveslater 2 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk
lol.. common sense.. stick has no sharp edges but both MMA gloves and boxing gloves are used by hands .. they are testing what hits harder.. even if you have the same force if you are using sword against stick, you will know the answer without testing. but with both using hands, MMA gloves is hard to define if it hits harder than boxing gloves..
what a fool example.
WeAreChampions234 2 weeks ago
@heartlessjerk its called area of effected damage, if its spread out then its less devastating. its like landing on foot instead of two, hurts more...

@heartlessjerk thats why they said ''which hits harder'' not which is the most damaging hitting someone with a bat and then hitting someone with a bat with a nail through it, one would be far more damaging but they would have the same amount of measurable force and thats what this video is about

keatoniswhat 1 month ago
@choyleefutkid1 yah i agree a hundred percent because when i spar with boxing gloves i attain blunt force so that is why there are more rounds in boxing than in MMA. MMA gloves that are used by fighters punch isconcentrated to a specific point. But Boxing gloves arenot "pillows" because it hurts like a bitch, but to my point boxing gloves dispurse the energy of impact. ANd my biggest thing is that Boxers which i love, take more punishment in a fight whick gets me pumped and that is wat wariors r.

mma gloves are made to protect the hand, and thats it. not the opponents face or body
mosesjiujitsu 1 month ago 24
@mosesjiujitsu Boxing gloves protect the boxers hand not their opponent, in fact boxing has had more injuries and deaths since the introduction of the boxing glove as we know it as fighters are now able to hit the head and jaw where before, bare fisted it would (potentially) break your hand. MMA gloves are made because you need to perform more delicate tasks and so the fingers are exposed and free moving, whats the expression horses for courses? They both protect the hand but have different uses

Lol that punch was bad if u throw like that in a match ur out but im sure he did it for power. Boxing is the hardest sport in my opion
Jonathanr1015 1 month ago
I always thought boxing causes more damage because the padding lets you punch harder w/out hurting your hand, so concussions are more common :L
Willyj1230 1 month ago
@Willyj1230 - valid point, but if you are trained at some point it doesnt matter how hard you hit - your knuckle won't feel anyway + imagine strapping a pillow to the fist (it will hurt your hand less but also the catching face^^) and then again a mma glove makes also a big difference because it kinda stabilises your fist when you hit and IMO it takes a lot of damage out of the hand but doesnt make a big difference to the face

obviously it proves that a boxer (puncher) hits much harder than a mma fighter (puncher) with the hands, some boxers killed people in the ring with boxing gloves, hell, a prime tyson, george foreman, sonny liston, earnie shavers, david tua would bomb out the mma fighters with mma gloves, and boxer has weapons in his hands

boxers also have bigger gloves for BLOCKING. MMA glove are tiny and dont block shit

mma i can go to the ground and pull guard wen im hit, i can fake falling down like thales leites vs anderson silva. wen i fall i can pull guard and hold my opponent close... remember that in boxing ur both standing non stop (no clinching and holding against the fence). u guys are constantly under the possibility of having a shot hitting u in your face, every split second of the match. Alot more intimidating (thus why toney felt 0 intimidation vs couture)

mma guys throw haymakers and boxers dont. mma guys strike differently.
JMort95 1 month ago

JJbones88 1 month ago
ha! Bas throws a hook the wrong way. it is a great way to hurt yourself however.
BLaCkKsHeEp 1 month ago
@BLaCkKsHeEp Dude its not the wrong way. Its a hook from a streetfighter. If you use the vertical fist you could injure your little knuckles when your opponent moves his head.
The little knuckle will break and will never be repeared.
minasz 1 month ago
@minasz
you may be right with the "street fighter" thing but its still not the proper way to throw a hook.
youre supposed to have your palms facing downwards (palms facing the floor) and have your two bigger knuckles do the work for you. a hook like that is a good way to hurt your wrist and your elbows.
BLaCkKsHeEp 1 month ago
@BLaCkKsHeEp No dude, there is no supposed you have your palm facing down. Its just the way you prefer to hit. There are many PRO boxers and PRO fighters like Bas who hit like this video. You can injure your fist, wrist or knuckles easily with hitting both ways.
minasz 1 month ago
@minasz
i know its preference but why do they teach proper form in almost anything you do? even on push ups and running?
palms down is the "proper" form, lets put it that way.
BLaCkKsHeEp 1 month ago
bare knuckles? you mean open palms lol
biggmoneyme 1 month ago
Most important is a knock out is mostly caused by a punch that you didnt see coming.
minasz 1 month ago
@minasz not really. its more of where the punch landed. Hitting the jaw with 6lbs of force will cause a knockout if it causes their head to jerk. Apart from the jaw behind the ear can knock you out, not as easily though
biggmoneyme 1 month ago
@biggmoneyme What I mean with getting knocked out caused by a punch you didnt see is that you have always your guard. your defence. And you get hit cuz you didnt see the punch coming so there s no defence. A hit dont have to be as hard as this video says to get knocked out. Many got knocked out by a ghost punch. A little hit on the chin they never saw it coming.
