Tranmere did not deserve that the way they played that night. I was there in the Kop and i saw everything. we played harder, quicker and better. it might not have been Champions League football, but it was sure all hell champions league commitment, to quote Stuart Barlow.

I had my back turned for most of the shoot out! I just couldn't look! My mam thought she seen me on telly but said she wasn't sure coz it was only from the back. I told her that was me!! Scoring the winning penalty couldn't have happened to a more true poolie!

What a match this was, one hell of a birthday present lol. Humphreys is the toast of hartlepool. But so was Dimi, He played the match of his life. What a keeper he can be
