It's fun, but if you have ever driven a car or even played an actual simulator then you'd know that the physics are really really crappy. Plus the AI seems to be retarded pretty often.

@michaelin0s I'm still downloading so i can't promise that this will work, but brake until you reach your desired turn speed and then turn. braking puts the weight on your front wheels and makes you spin more IRL so i'm guessing that that's what you're doing wrong.
@TheMaTaSS they dont need to because it already demolishes most of its competition but they are, and im getting it. screw shift 2, GT5 is the muma but GRID is the daddy.

@ps3boiy The graphics are great, but I found the handling of the cars to be unrealistic. GT5 is better, and I have yet to play Forza 3, but I'd imagine that's better as well.

This is BY FAR the worst driving game ive ever played. Driving in this game is like playing pinball. The cars are extremely hard to control. On the easiest difficulty the Le Mans Race at the end of each season is almost impossible to win and you need the money from it. One hit from another car will send you flying into a wall and its race over. Soo dumb. Fucking MONKEYS designed this game.

Some races even in normal are extremelly difficult. When those ravenwest badasses are in the race that is. By the way i strongly believe that if codemaster will release a grid 2 with more tracks, cars and some car set up (not tuning just setup) this game will be one of the best racing games ever

Hey when I play grid, and I have the head camera option (where u see the steering wheel and dash and everything in the inside) I don't have a guy driving it, just a steering wheel that doesn't move, the car is empty, how come?
Just got it for 10 dollar for ps3 and def the best racegame for ps3 out there. Ive played gt5 prologue and the gt5 demo but grid's driving handeling feels way better. Gt5 is a laugh.
Japanese cars handle nice but they got no power, American cars handle like bucking broncos, they are fast as hell, but tough as nails to handle, only European cars are balanced and well engineered.
I've never actually driven all three kinds but I've played racing sims before; I don't know if its European bias, or if the cars really are just better engineered.
On a previous TOCA game, I loved the game until I found out that the opponent cars have a auto-catch-up style ability. There was no option to disable it. It ruined the game for me. this game looks great but I wont go near it with a barge-pole if it has that same auto-catch-up nonsense. Does anybody know if it has that? And if so, can you turn it off?

The game rewards learning how to drive properly and control your car. That is why the instant replay is present: so you can see what you need to improve at certain points in a race.

whats the point of crashing so many god dm times and havving yer car run like a dreem, thats what i hate a bout gt and nfs, you can use teh otehr cars as bufers, you cant in this game

i just got this game and i cant stop spinning out when i turn. Its so frustrating. everytime i want to turn, i end up doing a 180 degree turn and face the opposite direction.

Great graphics but the physics are little too arcade. I like the game but I wish there was a "Simulation" mode for more realistic driving.
