I was born and raised up in Southwest Virginia and was blessed to have been able to listen to the Carter Family songs from childhood. It saddens me so to realize that they ALL are gone now and too late folks are just learning to appreciate their music from the heart. Thanks for posting this video and it's nice to know that the Carter music lives on through others. Nice job on this old favorite of many.

I really do like this version of this lovely old classic. How can anything go wrong with a song like this? It sounds good all the time. The couple singing are doing the song basically like A.P. Carter did it. Special kind of harmony. I have gotten so hooked on this song which my sister and I sang ourselves many years ago. It's always good to hear the third verse which not everyone sings. Old fashioned words that say so much. Thank you for posting. - Paula
