@asianboyJhC Apparently you were so anxious to get to the comments to make a fool of yourself, you didn't pay attention to the video, nor what I said during it ;)
I think puppy has a way to make an iso of your current set up, Ive never tried it but it would kick ass if you could build a image of the pup with kde and compiz fusion.
The menus are made transparent through the KDE window manager. The transparent window borders are achieved through emerald theme manager. Thanks for watching!
Hey guys thanks for all the great comments! I've been off line for a little while, but I'm back now, and will answer any questions. As for what KDE theme it is, I can't quite remember. I do still have this disc laying around tho, so I'll boot it up later on and get back on what the theme is. @ Tom: If it weren't for the great support of the community, I'd have never pulled it off. @ cusbrar: It took me forever to get the xorg.conf right, but when I did you can bet I made a few backups of it!
I enjoyed watching this, thanks. I'm so chuffed that people are still enjoying wNOP :)
I've just been looking into which other distros have good CF support, most do, but I'm surprised how it's only really Ubuntu and Puppy that significant documentation/discussion about it.
I think that depends on the users needs, likes, and dislikes. I find XFCE to be lacking in several ways. Not knocking it or anything, but it just doesn't fit my needs. You should keep this in mind when evaluating the different components of any operating system. Thanks for watching!
I like to laugh @ anyone, who thinks they can bad mouth a basically free O.S., In a million years Mirosoft will never be able to claim they are a free O.S.....Regardless....
Things like KDE and CF are just the gloss on the exterior. Deeper inside linux offers it's users more freedom and the decision as to what the machine should be doing. Want a nifty little linux tip? The distro PCLinuxOS (and others) allows you to make daily system backups to a remote server. Worst case scenario, HDD failure, you can reinstall and import your last snapshot and be right back where you were. There's tons of nifty little things linux can do. Most people just don't care to learn
this would be the best puplet ever!!
is this an easy point to get to, it looks smexy ;)

@GenerealPorsche
I'm glad to hear that. If it gets to the point that you're typing in your sleep, you could get a data entry job and kill two birds with one stone.
