@themunster I don't like nascar either, I was just comparing the pit stop time...and no one really asked for your opinion so I don't understand why you had to use "the old cliché"...there was no need for it in the first place.

@grkpmpn69 yeah pitstop time is due to rules which say how any people can work on the car at the same time, tyres can't be changed when car is being fuelled and car must be fuelled before being worked on etc. Only 4 people over the white line at any one time unless you want to wheel it back into the garage in which case you can do what ever you want, the rules only apply when you're on the actual pit road. I used the old cliché because it's teh trooth! :D

@themunster Very well! I didn't know that, I actually stumbled across the video while watching pit crew vids =) Well that explains the time difference in this situation, thank you for 411, and as far as NASCAR goes....Here it comes.....He's making a left turn!

@grkpmpn69 Haha :) No worries, the rules were bought in to level out the pit times, because at le mans big teams would have 20 pit crew for each car and could do pit stops at Formula 1 speed, but the smaller teams couldn't afford all the people so the ACO changed the rules so that teams were winning because of their on track performance, not how many people they had in the pits :)
