Yes, although it is a bit tricky to get the wording and the playing really "in sync", as each "NOTEON" triggers ONE instance of the word builder data. There are tutorial/demo videos on youtube made by EastWest showing this.
Nothing The eastwest player(kontakt player model) does'nt loads the EAst West Quantum Leap Symphonic CHoir (27 .nki files, so many GB), and also the word builder does'nt does it. They see it, but don't load nothing, not even the blue keys don't appear? I'm loading files and creating an istrument with Kontakt's sampler, putting the "ah" and "eh"" until now and changing from this to that with an automation. But is too long, hard and awkward!!! nobody here know why They don't do that? PLEASE HELP
I am sorry, but I do not understand what you are talking about. Have you had a look into the documentation of your product? Have you contacted EastWest?
vielleicht an meinem Akzent?
Sorry, I don't understand the question. The programs used for this video are all mentioned: Samplitude (DAW), Play (EastWest Player tool) and the Symphonic Choir library. No "sampler" program was involved.
god this is so confusing - and i am just a noob in this
ok so i have WB and symphonic choirs, but now i need a virtual midi.....but how do i get the virtual midi to work with all of these....where do i install it?
I am sorry you find it confusing, in fact the best solution would be to remind EW of their official promise to provide a fully integrated WB in "Play" so long ago. The more people remind them of that fact, the more likely they may try to keep up to their promises.
As for the question "where to install": Please refer to the documentation that comes along with (nearly) all software you buy.
The connections of the "virtual lines" can be put up as shown in the video. Or otherwise.
Ok, so for the choirs, it looks like the 6 multis are just 6 more instruments that are different. And with the Men/Women, you get a total of 12 for tenor/bass or alto/soprano. But how do I know what these differences are? Is there a chart or something somewhere that explains the differences between all 6 instruments per voice?
@bufjap - yep, the multis collect the various samples needed for the named choirs. But there isn't a simple line-up with "tenor women, tenor men, soprano women, soprano men". So the differences are just what the differences in real life are: A soprano choir of women sounds considerably different to a bass choir of men.
There's no "instrument per voice", either. All sounds you get from the choir plugin are complete choir sets, not single voices.
Thanks for the hint. I did this merely to show that it is possible, not so much as a step-by-step tutorial. It also depends on what tools (virutal device etc) you use.
Try using the pause function to see what's shown on the screen if you want to follow the steps (I still think understanding the basic technique should enable you to build your own setup, though)
As long as you are using a VSTi everything should work as outlined here (eventually have a look at the "quick walkthrough video" I have uploaded yesterday). I have also tried to help people along in the official Samplitude forum.
As one can see, Marc is successful in getting word builder to work in Samplitude. However, I am not having such an easy time. It's not working no matter how many times I follow this tutorial.
Looks like he is using V10. I am using 11 pro and nothing works. I can get S.C. in Samp with no problem but Word B will not appear!
Not Magix or EWQL have an answer but Marc here seems to have it .... somehow. Very perplexing!
WordBuilder still is its own application, NOT built into a VST. So you have to start it seperately. That's why I am using a virtual MIDI device, which would not be necessary, if EW would have kept their promise to release a "built in" version last summer.
In the most mixing/producing software is a virtual Keyboard function, does the World Builder react on that when intending to use Choirs with text?

hi. i'm using samplitude 11 with the symphonic choirs. i too can not get this to work.
I'm wondering if its because i'm not using the PLAY edition as I see you are. Please advise. thanks in advance

I understand what you are saying. Short sightedness on EW side as developers. Then again, there's nothing for them to lose.
