Here's the mark of a comic genius. Robin can tell that he'd not getting that many laughs from the computer jargon he's throwing out, compared to the theater references. He's getting a few, but he's playing to the wrong audience with that stuff and he can tell he's lost at least half of them. So in mid stride, he changes gears and starts talking about building a laser to torment the cat. That's more universal and he gets the audience back. Brilliant.

When he is able to sit still and improvise without either cursing or pushing Obama's foreign policy on us, he is freaking hilarious.
