OMG. What did she do to her face? She was so pretty. She's unrecognized now? Duh. What is it that people don't understand about the music BUSINESS? She isn't recognized doing this crap b/c this can't draw a big enough record-buying audience. So, she can choose to either be a poor, starving, unrecognized scary-looking artist, or be commercial (does not mean selling out-does mean SELLING ALBUMS though) & generate revenue. Where'd she park her spaceship?! I want to know because I want to avoid it.
@jacquesjunk People age with the time, and calling her album "Who*e" crap is pretty ridiculous, it is a concept album which should be listened from the start to the finish. It's more hard rock/metal/industrial rather than alt rock, synth pop or soul like her previous stuff. The vision is right for that genre - all that gothic make up. In fact, she looks pretty good with that make up, it is like a part of the whole concept.
@PetruoFan I did mean it's crap in comparison with what she'd done B4. Apologies for the general "Crap" rating. I thought she'd retired 30+ yrs ago. We don't have enough people to support the genre you've noted. I keep reading: "Why isn't she played more? Why isn't she recognized?" And it's so obvious why. She has a sensational voice, AWESOME tone, a beautiful face--young or old, & could've been a musical force to be reckoned with alongside someone like Anne Wilson & I think it's a waste. :)
This may have been recorded some years ago, but the vocals in this song are contemporary and magnificent. I wish this woman had the recognition she desererved. She is simply magnificent.

I love how her voice sounds almost like an electric guitar on his one. Just raw. :)
