  • i want a dog like k-9

  • my childhood doctor <3

  • Am I the only one who thinks that Tom looks very different in this opening? He looks younger and more skinny than he actually was in the show. Compare this to his second intro, and you would think that it is two different guys.

  • One of my fave past Doctors.

  • If you guys would like, I made a Doctor Who Classic Trailer for the 1966 story 'The Tenth Planet'... Here's the link to it and I hope you like it. It's William Hartnell's last episode btw:

  • This Dr Who was a complete ass.

  • @unclebobpart2 what??? tom baker was an awsome Dr

  • @nuwavevidspud : No, Tom Baker. With that stupid scarf, and addiction to jelly beans, he deserved a good and complete beating. He reminds me of a criminal immigrant slimeball, climbing the border fence for the first time, and trying to pretend to be smart. I'm disgusted even thinking about it.

  • *insert family guy reference here*

  • Ah... Tom Baker..

  • FYOOOOO CHURRRRRRR!!!!!!!

  • This intro is my childhood. Thank God for geek parents! ^^

  • @Nomis095

  • @Roxas897 Dr. Whooves

  • @Nomis095 Yes because the stupid MLP fad has to spread? Fuck off this is about Doctor Who not Ponies in a kids show.

  • @Nomis095 You have my support and my brohoof

  • @Nomis095 brohoof

  • @Nomis095 STEVE JOBS

  • @Nomis095 What does ponies have to do with Doctor Who?

  • @blownuper there's a character in the show that is a refrence to Dr, Who

  • @Nomis095 ah, that makes sense. thanks

  • to me Tom Baker is Dr Who or more specially when I think Dr Who I picture him in my head with the wild hair, trenccoat and multicolored scarf

  • This would make a good cellphone ring tone

  • @KevinPatrickCarey thats exactly what i think

  • @Toyman1982

    Uhhh no.

  • for some reason I was led here by ponies and not Family guy....

  • Thumbs up if u think fanboys should stfu and enjoy both series

  • Thumbs up if you knew what this was before Family Guy had to ruin a good thing.

  • The great days of Dr Who before he acquired a Salford accent.

The new ones are sanitised PC rubbish like everything else on TV these days.

  • fam guy didnt bring me hear but it still was funny

  • i love him, and i just realized that he looks a hell of a lot like my highschool philosophy teacher!

  • this is very old :(

  • @aliomran121

what does age have to do with content? There are some VERY old movies that even something being released TODAY can't even come close to in terms of screenplay, characters.

I would rather watch something from 1940 with rubber suits and fishing line than some lame 100 million CGI fest with douchy main characters you cant wait to get bumped off in the first 10 minutes

  • Hyper space always looks so freaky

  • @spartandud3 Congratulations you are the 10000th person to quote that stupid thing now shut up and move on.

  • @Costerguy1234556 Why do they call them tie fighters?

  • @spartandud3 TIE = Twin Ion Engine

  • @Costerguy1234556 Great now I have to find out what that guy said -________-

  • @lazerroarswtf He quoted the Family guy joke.

  • I am Dave! Yognaut and I have the balls.

  • I grew up with Tom Baker's Dr on PBS back in the 1970s-1980s when I was a kid.

About fifteen years ago when I went on a trip to Britain one of the highlights of that trip was buying a bag of Jelly Babies and bringing it back to the states, I think I gave it away to another Dr Who fan :'-(

    I wish I hadn't.

  • Tom Baker and Matt smith are the best doctor(s).

  • watch?v=BnKlHgDBjUI

  • Trippy shit.

  • The Daleks were always the greatest enemy of Dr Who in my opinion

  • thumbs up if charlieissocoollike sent you here

  • @rcesupahstar Thumbs up if you think charlieissocoollike is a bell end... ¬_¬

  • when will they return to the old close up face formula! ahah!

  • my dad said he was scared by this lol

  • this intro is just fucking creepy

  • @Truckguy74391 I thought i was the only one..fuuuu.

  • I used to watch this when i was 10 on abc :) every night without fail lol

  • @TurtleKrazy weird me too

  • Come on BBC ,its time to show every episode from 1963 - 1989.

Not including the ones you foolishy lost of course

  • @cymrutube3 The ones they foolishly DESTROYED you mean. Saying they were lost makes it sound like an accident, whereas they very much deliberately wiped

  • <3

  • Thumbs up if you do NOT give a shit whether people were brought here by family guy or not.

  • i would thumb up but its not working for some fucking reason

  • I was seriously hoping for the Series 6 intro to have a close-up of Matt Smith's face before the title-card

  • @obiwanobiwan13

The pure fact is that there's so much of it, and especially with the earlier episodes it can be very hard to source. If I were you, I'd start off with the newest Doctor since (to my mind anyway) he actually carries on the older tradition more. So start with the episode 'The Eleventh Hour' and watch that series. If you like it, then search out the earlier stuff. Hope you enjoy!

  • @obiwanobiwan13 Genesis of the Daleks. A Tom Baker era story that was voted the best Who story ever in 2004 by readers of Dr Who Magazine.

  • @obiwanobiwan13 Silence in the Library. I'd say Weeping Angels is the best but it doesn't feature much of the Doctor perse, so you don't get as good a feel for the show as a whole. You most likely wouldn't like the older ones, the pacing and storylines are for a different generation, but the new series are brilliant, season 3 in particular.

P.S. those episode names probably aren't right but if you typed in those key words theyd pop right up. Happy watching!

  • :) time has gone quick

  • @obiwanobiwan13 Talons of Weng Chiang (Tom Baker), or Inferno (John Pertwee). Both are considered top Doctor Who episodes, but they are very different. Trust me, Doctor Who episodes have a 1:2 radio of quality depending on the doctor/period!

  • @obiwanobiwan13 This one - Genesis of the Daleks. But to appreciate you have to have grown up with the Daleks and overlook the shakey sets. It is a continuing joke that all foreign planets in Dr Who look like quarries in SE England (and now the grimy parts of Wales). I would be interested to know which episodes you saw. The series is very British particularly the classic series. Most of the fans know the back story of the main character and the premise of the series which is a help.

  • Nerdists Rejoice in his splendor for he is Tom Baker a man of man shapes and yet only one space screwdriver.

  • Thumbs up if you were a "Who-vian" since you were a kid staying up late to watch the Doctor on public access at ungodly times of the morning?

  • I saw this on tv for the first time a couple days ago. I look it up and find there's over 700 episodes 0_o WHERE DO I BEGIN! OH GOD!

  • @sync380 You have options you could begin with "an unearthly child" which is the very first television serial however most episodes from the sixties are lost due to a bbc policy of "clearing" however full soundtracks still remain and it takes a bit of searching to see online episodes. or you could start with "Rose" which is the first of the "new series". Google "Doctor Who Guide" and the first result is a full chronological list of his adventures on and off screen.

  • and for this reason i love Youtube..., how many erased and lost memories come back with this

  • I loved this show when I was a kid! Loved the opening theme too, unforgettable! Thanks for uploading it.

  • Best Doctor. Best Intro. Best Episode.

  • @DLGFTW Can't argue with that.

  • Oh man, this show freaked me out as a kid...

  • Good memories....Sunday afternoons with a pizza and Tom Baker....thanks pbs.

  • Although I was only 9 years old at the time, I had a big crush on Sarah (Sara?).

  • OMG! Had this tune in my head for yeeaars!

  • Family Guy ruins everything it touches.
