Emmm, liked it, but sure not "the best french movie ever made". Story very well, the same for effects, but the cuts are sometimes really nervous - jumps from intimate close-up to long shot twice a second. But at least it's something different and absolutely no waste of time. Tim Burton Fans may like it.

But this isn't really a film about Vidocq. It's a fantasy (with a bit of horror) film, and Vidocq is used as a character, but they could have put anyone else.
