Well, where to start?

I love all kinds of sugar to start. The world is a much more beautiful place with all the lovely sugars around. It doesn't matter what flavor or color. I've had a long lasting relationship and love of brown sugar much of my life. :)

I was born in D.C. and raised in Oxon Hill just outside of southeast D.C. for the first third or so of my life. Brown sugar was so abundant you had to love it or leave it, and I loved it from the first day I laid eyes on it. I tasted many sugars and brown sugar like many, have a special place in my heart.

Besides that, growing up where I did gave me a childhood of experiences I may not have gotten elsewhere. They were good, bad, ugly, beautiful, meaningful and life changing.
