The 80's, that's what was going on... the collapse of the biggest and most fearsome empire ever known to humans - USSR. CC Catch as well as other 80's singers (MT, BBB, etc.) was one of many factors that made the empire collapse faster, because her music was loved by millions of teenagers (like myself) and helped bring in the new mentality from the west. 20 years after I still love here songs, she's the best singer I've known!

Well I'll take the words of someone whose name is most likely derived from this singer or band or whatever it is, with a grain of salt. To say this helped end the Cold War does seem like a stretch though. And this song is mostly a travisty because it rips of the name of a much greater song, Neil Young's Like a Hurricane.
