Did you manage to beat that distance in 2009?

I'm thinking about commuting to work the same way!

The distance 52 km each way (a little over 30 miles).

Was it to hard when you started (I have long steep hills in the way)?

@onurbepilif77 Thanks! I did end up topping my 2008 total, finishing 2009 with 6741 miles. It wasn't very difficult when I began bike commuting, as I'd been doing it to one degree or another much of my adult life. In fact, it became a very fulfilling (and fun) way to get to work that I enjoyed. But then again I didn't have much in the way of hills to contend with. I wish you luck with your bike commute efforts!

Man I wish we had that kind of weather here in Illinois. I got a brother that lives there and I visit him at least a couple of times of the year.
