Ive lived in hollidaysburg/duncansville area my whole life and I was always looking for things in the sky and Ill tell you its amazing how much you can catch. Ive seen so many strange things in the sky but I never had a cam to record it. This is crazy how close to home it is. Most of what I saw was in penn farms and duncansville toward maple hallow. This is good Ive never seen one like this before. This was on my birthday I cant believe I didnt see it because I was outside for most of that night

strobe pattern is not correct for an airplane or hellicopter I know I live in Baton Rouger,Louisiana right under the main flight path.After Katrina all that was flying were helicopters...all shapes and sizes...The air corridor was closed down by ther government so only things that flew were government approved!

Great camera work for sudden vlogging. Still sucks not to have a tripod to get stable shot or better look. Its nothing like plane! What was that building or structure to the left. Was that a sound wall in front. What do you estimate the distance from you?

building was right in front of me.. it is the roof and wall f the bar next door... the craft was roughly 1 mile away.. for me to get all the lights and colors without the thing going out of the frame was pretty good.. because it was hovering.. It was there over 8 minutes,,,, i ran out of memory and the cam quit taping.. it never got further away in this video

Wow eight minutes, I've seen planes circle for much longer to gain clearance to land, and thats not even watching them coming over from the edge of the horizon. Tell me how far can you see across the horizon again? Perspective is amazing especially when an object is travelling towards you. It seems not to move, only get larger.

I have 60 times optical zoom.. figure it out from there... Sorry but planes don't strobe like that .. do you see a pattern to it? I got no airport here and the sucka wasn't showing on flight aware. So don't tell me you know emphatically that is an airplane.

@nimitta1 Planes do have strobe lights on each wing, plus other flashing lights.

Google "airplane navigation lights", The first two links that are listed are very informative.

Looks kinda like an airplane to me. If there really are aliens visiting us, why would they put big flashing lights on the bottom of their spacecraft? I mean, I want to believe in UFOs as much as the next guy, but honestly.
